A couple has spent thousands of pounds decorating their house to mark Remembrance Day with silhouettes of soldiers and giant light-up poppies.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Jackie North and her husband Sean, 37, from Lincolnshire, first decorated their home to mark Armistice Day in 2022 – and decided to go bigger and better this year.<\/p>\n
Their home is now adorned with 12,000 red lights, silhouettes of soldiers and a giant light-up poppy on their garage door – and it has been known to stop traffic.<\/p>\n
Ms North, a school kitchen assistant, said: ‘We did Remembrance last year but we didn’t have anywhere near as many lights.<\/span><\/p>\n ‘We had a poppy on the tree and in front of the garage with some lights.<\/p>\n Jackie North and her husband Sean, 37, from Lincolnshire, first decorated their home to mark Armistice Day in 2022 – and decided to go bigger and better this year<\/p>\n Their home is now adorned with 12,000 red lights, silhouettes of soldiers and a giant light-up poppy on their garage door – and it has been known to stop traffic.
