Sue Radford has opened up on how her 12th kid, son Josh, struggled with “major issues” at school, after receiving countless phone calls from his tutors about him.
“Josh had major issues… he didn’t really like [school and] it was a nightmare getting him up in the morning,” the 22 Kids and Counting star groaned.
Sue and husband Noel then revealed in a YouTube Q&A about the ins and outs of caring for a huge family that they have found a solution for their son.
After speaking to the school, the pair decided to enrol him on a sports course at college, which he loves, and Sue says he’s now “a completely different person”.
Proud dad Noel added to the camera: “Quite a few times, he’s been teaching younger kids from another school.”

It isn’t the first time that the family opted to speak out about Josh, with an episode of the Channel 5 show also detailing his woes.
Sue, 48, explained things had escalated so much that when she received a call from an anonymous number, she would automatically assume she knew who was behind it.
“When I’m at work and I see a no caller ID, I just think: ‘Oh, what has Josh done now?'” Sue admitted.
“It’s generally: ‘We’re having to put Josh in impact today.’ They go to a room where there’s other kids there who have been sent to impact, and you’re just sat on your own, learning on your own,” she fretted.

“The thing that worries me the most about him going in impact all the time is that, you know, he’s rubbing shoulders with the wrong crowd,” the concerned mum continued.
Noel, who runs his own bakery, chimed in that he’d been panicked in case his son started “getting mixed up with the wrong group of kids”.
Sue sternly warned him on the show that he needed to “start knuckling down and thinking about where you’re going in life”.
Josh also received a similar lecture from his father, which he seemed to take on board when he concluded: “I think it’ll be a good thing if I grow up to be like my dad.”
Meanwhile, Josh has received a haircut recently courtesy of his big sister, 17-year-old Aimee, who is studying the art of hairdressing for a college course.
Sue says her 10th child is doing “fantastically”, although she didn’t opt for her daughter’s services when it came to her own haircut this month.
The star shared a dramatic transformation which showed her locks change from brown to golden blonde, while she had extensions fitted to boost her volume and length.
Taking to Instagram afterwards in view of over half a million followers, Sue thanked Carmen Edmondson of the Robert Gordon James salon in Lancaster for her makeover.
