Speaking recently to Express.co.uk, head judge Shirley Ballas gave her verdict on the line-up.
When asked who sticks out for her from the line-up as a potentially talented dancer, Shirley replied: “Well, I think Layton Williams as a musical theatre star will be very, very good.
“I also think Angela Scanlon [could be good]. So we’ll see, this seems to be a good line-up so far.
“I’m sure Amanda Abington’s done a little bit [of dancing] in her time, maybe some ballet as a little girl.”
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One later this month.
