Hollywood A-list star drops in on Yorkshire villagers for surprise visit
Movie star Hugh Jackman poses with stunned cheese shop staff after dropping in while holidaying in northern England.
The X-Men actor, who is visiting Britain with his wife and two children, was also spotted walking along the canal path near the sleepy town of Silsden, West Yorks. Andy Swinscoe, 36, was amazed when Hugh, 54, turned up at his cheese store The Courtyard Dairy in Austwick, North Yorks.
He said: “He was a really nice guy. He was really interested in what we do. He knew a lot about cheese.”

This comes after the SAG-AFTRA strikes began, which meant most Hollywood movie sets have ground to a halt.
Since then, Hugh has been making the most of the British sunshine by enjoying hikes and sampling cheese it seems.
Cheesemongers at the local shop were left thrilled when the actor came in to try some of their products.
A spokesperson for The Courtyard Dairy said: "At least we know Hugh Jackman likes cheese."
The film star sported a black T-shirt and baseball cap, however, he didn't go unnoticed as he kept being asked for selfies with locals.
Hugh was happy to pose with the blocks of cheese as the proud members of staff smiled next to him.
He also made an impression on the employees at the Steeton Hall Hotel, where he stayed with his family.
The hotel posted a photo of him posing with staff on their Facebook page.
They captioned the post: "Wow, all we can say is what a pleasure we had to host Hugh Jackman and his family these last couple of days.
"It isn't often you get an opportunity to share your business with somebody like this so it was great to hear they enjoyed their stay and that the food was 'fantastic' and 'brilliant. We hope to meet you all again!"
