Hardy Cancels Shows Due To 'Serious Anxiety' After Bus Accident

Hardy has cancelled a couple of his upcoming shows due to “serious anxiety” following a bus accident.

Two concerts of the country singer-songwriter’s The Mockingbird & the Crow fall tour,” which had been scheduled to be held on October 5 in Simpsonville, S.C., and on October 7 in Brandon, Miss., have been scrapped.

Additionally, his performance at the Georgia Rodeo, a one-day music festival, which was slated to take place in between the two tour dates, has been delayed until next year.

The tickets for the show, which has been rescheduled to April 12, will be honored for the new date.

Hardy revealed on social media that he has been hospitalized for many panic attacks since he and members of his touring team were injured in an accident a year ago on the way back from a concert in Bristol, Tennessee.

“I’ve been dealing with some serious anxiety since the bus accident last year, and over the last two weeks, it has taken control of my life,” he wrote. “It has caused me to suffer many panic attacks which have landed me in the hospital. I need a moment to focus on me and to make myself better for my wife, family and you, the fans.”

He added that his plan is “to be back and focused on Oct. 12” at First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Ark.

Refunds for the cancelled shows will be available at the point of purchase.
