Retired boxer Tony Bellew is final name rumoured to join I’m A Celebrity line-up
I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!'s 2023 cast is rumoured to be complete as retired boxer Tony Bellew is claimed to be the final campmate headed Down Under.
Although the launch of the ITV series is still more than a week away, The Sun has reported the full line-up and now Tony, 40, is said to be the last celebrity completing this year's camp.
Tony retired from boxing in 2018, but has already appeared on reality TV before as a contestant in the 2020 series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, and had roles in 2015 film Creed, as well as this year's follow up, Creed III.
ITV have not announced this year's jungle line-up yet, but it's claimed that the full cast will include Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn Spears, Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard, This Morning presenter Josie Gibson and First Dates star Fred Sirieix.
Former Ukip and Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage was already rumoured to be signed up to the reality show and has said he is giving an offer to join the new series "very serious consideration" despite having turned it down before.
He said that he had turned down offers of "really quite substantial sums of money" since 2016 to appear on I'm A Celebrity, but it seems he is reconsidering this year.
Nigel is said to be hoping to connect with a younger audience after seeing former health secretary Matt Hancock finish in third place in the 2022 series.
Other celebrities rumoured to be headed for Australia to join the I'm A Celebrity camp include jockey Frankie Dettori and social media star and TV presenter Nella Rose.
Former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, whose character Lola Pearce's on-screen death brought fans to tears this year, is said to be joining them, as is former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson who recently supported girlfriend Zara McDermott during her time as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing 2023.
The line-up is also thought to include JLS singer and DJ Marvin Humes, and food critic Grace Dent, who often appears as a guest judge on the BBC’s MasterChef competition.
I'm A Celeb presenters Ant and Dec released a video to confirm the launch date and time for the series as 19 November at 9pm this week, but have not confirmed the rumoured line-up.
Sharing a clip to Instagram of a confused-looking dog on the jungle platform they present the show from, they wrote: "Our poker face when we're asked who's going into the jungle."
They added: "Act natural," with a zipped mouth emoji.
