Amanda Holden admits husband fancies Strictly star as she gives him ‘free pass’

Amanda Holden has admitted her husband has a bit of a thing for a former Strictly Come Dancing star, joking that she has even given him a "free pass" should the opportunity arise.

Speaking on her Heart Radio show on Wednesday (November 9), the 52-year old shocked the studio by revealing her spouse of five years, Chris Hughes, is fond of Rachel Riley. And in an interview with Jamie Theakston and Joe Wilkinson, the mother-of-two was quizzed on her thoughts on the Countdown beauty.

"She's a difficult woman… no, she is lovely," she explained. Amanda went on to add that she'd be fine with Chris going on a date with the 37-year old, who married her Strictly dance partner Pasha Kovalev in 2019.

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda continued: "You see that is my husband's pink pass. He's got a real thing for Rachel Riley. I would allow him to take her out… for a coffee."

Probed by Joe if she'd allow such a date to go any further, she aptly responded: "You work out the maths." Amanda went on to add that it's unlikely the pair would ever meet, before turning the tables on Joe to ask him: "But is she as attractive in real life, would you say?"

Earlier in the week, meanwhile, Amanda admitted she "likes a bit of side boob" and insisted she'll wear whatever she likes, even if it's a revealing garment. The star sent a defiant message to anybody slamming her fashion choices. She told OK! magazine: "I like classic pieces and I like value for money but I do like a bit of side boob every now and again."

She continued: "Women are always described as 'parading their legs' if they're wearing shorts or skirts, and if they're at the beach they're 'parading' in a bikini. No, I'm simply at the beach or I'm simply walking down the street in summer. I'd like to see those headlines change." The star went on to add that men don't get judged in the same way."

Previously, Amanda revealed her two daughters, Lexi, 17, and Hollie, 11, not only support her fashion choices but also love borrowing items of clothes from her fabulous wardrobe.

She said: "Lexi and Hollie see me trying on frocks all the time at home and they're the ones saying, 'Go for it, Mum'. I dress for myself and I've always dressed for myself. And I really enjoy fashion and I'm okay with it is all I'll say.

"I don't lose any sleep over it and I never set out to offend anybody. But I think these days you're unable to not offend. There's no way of winning. So you have to stay true to yourself and wear what you want."
