EastEnders’ Lacey Turner lets slip big clue about who dies in Christmas Day twist

Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater in EastEnders, has dropped a big hint about the upcoming Christmas Day murder storyline.

During a special spin-off show focusing on the storyline called The Six: Revealed on BBC Three, she hinted that her character might be involved in a shocking event this festive season.

Former EastEnders favourite Joe Swash hosted the show, and he discussed which of the six women – Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Stacey Slater, and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal)- would cause someone's death this Christmas.

Throughout the year Stacey has been targeted by Theo Hawthorne, but it seems unlikely he'll be the Christmas casualty, reported The Mirror.

Stacey has a history of violence, having previously killed Archie Mitchell on Christmas Day back in 2009 with the bust of Queen Victoria in The Queen Vic pub.

Lacey, 35, defended her character's actions but also hinted at a possible twist in the Christmas plot.

"You can't murder someone accidentally – or was it an accident? We don't know – in the same place twice. You can't. I'm not having it," she said.

Kellie Bright, who plays Linda, quickly added: "Anything can happen!"

Earlier this year, Lacey shared her thoughts on who the Christmas killer might be and who could deliver the fatal blow.

"When we first had the meeting about the storyline, I immediately thought it was someone who wasn't in Albert Square yet. I don't think it's a character that is actually on the show at the moment, but the more that time goes on, and the more the six of us have chatted away, I feel like it's an accidental death," she shared back in February.

"I don't think it has been done on purpose, and I think that it's more of a group effort rather than one sole person, and if it is one individual, then I think all of the women are covering for them.

"I think we all might know something we shouldn't know and we're all covering for each other, and maybe the person hasn't been killed? In terms of who meets their fate, I have a certain person in mind at the moment, but I think my guess is too obvious and I'm probably wrong."

During the special programme, the six also shared their thoughts on who will commit murder, and the majority of them said they think Suki will be the one who kills.
