Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo join Timothee Chalamet at world premiere of Wonka

Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo dressed the part for the highly-anticipated premiere of Wonka in London this evening, as they led the celebs at the star-studded event.

The new adaptation of the film is based on Roald Dahl’s Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, published in 1964, which tells the tale of a chocolate factory full of mind-bending treats and orange Oompa-Loompas.

The Made in Chelsea newlyweds cut stylish figures as they posed next to the giant sweet-covered Christmas tree display installation ahead of the screening.

Jamie, 35, was all-smiles as he showed off his dapper style in a checked grey suit for the occasion, his platinum blonde mop on display.

The reality TV star opted for a black fitted top underneath his jacket and wore matching polished loafer shoes.

Sophie, meanwhile, chose a look that reflected the theme of the evening, as she looked incredible in a bright pink silk wrap top that looked just like a chocolate box wrapper itself.

With dangling ties, Sophie finished her ensemble with a black mini-skirt and matching open-toed heels.

The star then swept her long blonde mane into an elegant high ponytail for the event, finishing off with a sweep of blush and nude lipstick.

Amongst the other stars taking to the red and gold carpet were Hollywood heavyweight Olivia Colman, film star Timothee Chalamet himself, Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and TV presenter Denise van Outen.

Joel Dommett and his wife Hannah Cooper also appeared on the red carpet, as festive vibes surrounded the stars on the red carpet.

Wonka will be released in cinemas on December 8.

Denise van Outen chose a lemon and mustard theme for her premiere look at the in London this evening, as the star opted for a colourful outfit that showcased her honey blonde tresses and warm glow.

The presenter grinned as she had one hand in the pocket of her 70s-style patterned trousers, and held a cream clutch bag in her other.

Denise finished off her look with a sage satin blouse and a faux fur coat for the evening.

Singer Nicola Roberts opted for a bold look for the evening, as the Girls Aloud singer went full 60s in a black panelled midi dress that showed off her svelte figure and unusual style.

The auburn-haired star wore her bob styled around her shoulders, and teamed her look with a bodice and matching scarf around her neck. Nicola then finished off with a pair of black stiletto heels.

Vanessa Bauer was next to take her style to the red carpet, as the professional ice skater looked stunning in a baby pink satin ballgown.

The ITV reality star wore her brunette locks in a simple yet elegant style down her back and opted for smokey eye makeup to complete the look.

Olivia Colman, who plays Mrs Scrubbit in the movie, looked every inch the Hollywood starlet in a floor-length black velvet gown that featured a cape dangling from both shoulders.

With a cut-out panel at the chest and long-sleeve straps, Olivia beamed as she posed for snaps on the Wonka carpet.

Showcasing her platinum blonde pixie bob, Olivia finished off her glamorous look with a sweep of glittery eyeshadow and a pale pink lip for the event.

Imelda Staunton couldn’t have looked further from her character of Queen Elizabeth II as she joined her husband, Downton Abbey star Jim Carter for the Wonka premiere in London today.

The Crown actress opted for a deep emerald green suede jacket for the event, and paired her statement piece with a black satin blouse, loose trousers and patterned shoes to finish.

Imelda styled her blonde curls into a casual look and went makeup-free for the event, while Jim chose a navy jacket, matching trousers and a patterned shirt for the occasion.
