Jane Fonda is ashamed to say she wants lover in his 20s in wild confession
Jane Fonda, 85, has always been open about her relationships, as well as her three failed marriages throughout her life.
The Hollywood legend has now spoken on a new podcast, sharing her eyebrow-raising requirements if she was going to find love again.
Speaking on the Absolutely Not podcast with comedian Heather McMahan, Jane made the shocking confession.,
She said: “I’m ashamed to say this, but if I were to take a lover, he’d have to be 20. Oh yeah.”
Podcast host Heather then asked her why this is and her response was even more shocking.

She simply replied: “Because I don’t like old skin.”
Heather quipped back: “I’m right there with you. I’m doing everything I can to keep it fresh.”
Fonda’s admission had a mix of reviews on X, formerly known as Twitter, with one user quipping: “Jane Fonda can say this lol, she’s the goat.” (sic)
A second added: “I love this woman. So freaking honest! And funny.”
A third commented: “Y’all are not about to try and cancel Jane plz. She’s being funny.”

However, despite the Book Club star’s funny remark, not all fans saw it this way, admitting it made them feel “uncomfortable”.
One user commented: “20? I’m not even half her age and I think 20 is too young for my age.”
A second user chimed: “What about if the 20-year-old doesn’t like old skin?”
A third user then claimed: “Nah this shouldn’t be normalised.”
This is not the first time Jane has combated stereotypes associated with her age.
Earlier in 2023, she appeared on Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ podcast, Wiser Than Me, and addressed her always youthful mindset.
She said at the time: “Spiritually and mentally and psychologically, I’m way younger.
“One of the things that I’ve learned as I’ve gotten into serious old age is when you’re inside it as opposed to looking at it from the outside, it’s not nearly as scary.”
