M&S shoppers love this ‘incredible quality’ and ‘luxurious’ cashmere jumper

Whether we like it or not, autumn is well underway, and although the current heatwave has put our winter wardrobes on pause for now, there’s no reason we can’t be adding to it while we wait for the temperature to drop again.

If there’s one item that's synonymous with autumn it's a cosy jumper, and there’s nothing better than finding one that not only looks fantastic, but feels it too.

Marks and Spencer’s shoppers have been raving about its Pure Cashmere Crew Neck Jumper, £85 here, and are praising it for its luxurious feel and quality, calling it worth the price.

The jumper, which is part of M&S’ Autograph premium investment range, is made from 100% cashmere, with the brand working with the Sustainable Fibre Alliance to make sure it's sourced responsibly.

The Pure Cashmere Crew Neck Jumper, £85 here, is cut with a relaxed, easy silhouette and has a classic crew neckline that makes it versatile and timeless, whilst the ribbed trim on the cuffs and hem give it more of a premium finish.

The jumper is available in 10 different colours ranging from neutrals like black, cappuccino, mole and khaki, to bolder shades like fuchsia pink, mint and lilac, and comes in sizes 6-24 with all sizes currently available in almost every colour.

Shoppers have been flooding the reviews section with praise, with one writing: “The colour mole is so chic and luxurious…..simple yet elegant,” whilst a second said: “Love it, luxury on your skin, worth the price- will purchase again”

A third wrote: “Incredible soft good quality jumper. I don't usually spend this amount of money, but you can see the difference! Lovely colour (mole).”

Some did critique the fit of the Pure Cashmere Crew Neck Jumper, £85 here, saying it came up a little short, whilst others said they’d sized up by one or two sizes to get a more relaxed, oversized fit.

Although £85 is definitely a higher price point for knitwear, when compared to some other brand’s cashmere jumpers it actually sits at the lower end of the price range.

However, we did find some other affordable cashmere alternatives, like this Uniqlo 100% Cashmere 3D Knit Seamless Crew Neck Jumper, £59.90 here (was £109), which currently has £50 off in the sale, whilst at Oasis you can get a Cashmere Blend Deep Cuff Slouchy V Neck Jumper, £35 here (was £89), which still has a small cashmere content and a wool blend to make sure its warm and cosy for winter.

If you’re looking for both warmth and softness though, sticking with 100% cashmere is the perfect way to add a little extra luxury into your day to day life, and we’ll be adding the M&S Pure Cashmere Crew Neck Jumper, £85 here, straight into our autumn wardrobes.
