Nigel Farage's team slam Lorraine Kelly for 'body shaming' him
Nigel Farage’s team hit back at Lorraine Kelly for ‘body shaming’ the I’m A Celebrity star on live TV and call for her to apologise for her comments on his naked shower scenes
Nigel Farage’s team have urged Lorraine Kelly to apologise for ‘body shaming’ Nigel Farage after his naked shower on I’m A Celebrity! Get Me Out Of Here.
The former politician, 59, cemented his status as one of the most controversial figures in camp as he stripped totally naked in the famous jungle shower.
Lorraine, 63, said the scene broadcast on Monday was ‘traumatising’ and went on to claim she was ‘astonished’ to find out his age because she thought he was older.
Now, Nigel’s team have angrily hit back at her ‘body shaming’ comments as they broke their silence in a social media post on Friday.
Taking to Nigel’s X/Twitter account, his team – who are managing his social media while he is in the jungle – urged Lorraine to apologise for her remarks.

Apology? After Lorraine commented on the scenes, Nigel’s team angrily hit back at her ‘body shaming’ comments as they broke their silence in a social media post on Friday
They wrote: ‘Has Lorraine apologised for body shaming Nigel Farage yet? Imagine if he made those comments about her on live TV.’
On Tuesday, Lorraine commented on Nigel’s naked shower scenes and his age during her breakfast show while chatting with former MP and TV star Edwina Currie.
Since then, Nigel has again stripped naked to have a bath, with viewers criticising ITV for airing Thursday night’s scenes and not giving him ‘privacy’.
After Nigel’s first naked shower on Monday, Lorraine said: ‘Is he only 59??! I thought he was a hell of a lot older than that.
‘That is astonishing. You get the face you deserve thankfully. You really do.’
But viewers said they were disappointed with her comments as many believed that Lorraine would not make the same comments about a woman.
Taking to social media, one penned: ‘I’m not a fan of Nigel, but Lorraine, that comment was below the belt. You never would say that about a woman #Lorraine’.
Another said: ‘Can’t stand all this man hating on #lorraine Same happened to Matt Hancock. Turning over to #JeremyVine early today’.

Television personality Nigel wasted no time in whipping his clothes off to have a wash, leaving his entire behind on show.
Walking through the camp, This Morning host Josie, 38, was stopped in her tracks as she set eyes on his cheeks, with the former Big Brother winner saying in the Bush Telegraph that she’d ‘seen worse’.
After the unexpected scenes, viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their astonishment after witnessing the scenes unfold on television.
Shocked viewers shared: ‘Totally didn’t need to see Nigel Farage’s bum on national TV.’
‘Wasn’t expecting to be facing Nigel Farage’s cheeks as I sat down with a cuppa’; ‘In no other country would you see a politican’s a** on national TV. WHAT’; ‘why’ve I just seen Nigel Farage’s cheeks’; ‘Why am I seeing Nigel Farage’s bare a** cheeks on my screen’; ‘can’t believe I’ve just seen Nigel Farage’s a**’.
On Thursday, Nigel once again stripped naked to have a bath and I’m A Celebrity came under fire from viewers over the scenes.
The show faced backlash from viewers who urged bosses to ‘show some respect’ and give the former UKIP leader some privacy, instead of broadcasting him nude.
Unlike his fellow campmates, who wear swimwear to head to the jungle shower or bath, the former politician has decided to strip off completely.

‘Please stop!’ On Thursday, Nigel once again stripped naked to have a bath and I’m A Celebrity came under fire from viewers over the scenes
Fans took to X – formerly known as Twitter – taking aim at Thursday night’s episode and questioned why airtime was given to Nigel bathing.
One viewer asked: ‘So Nigel’s bottom again. So it shows he is quite happy to keep as clean as he can. Would they film and show other people I wonder ? No. ITV are pathetic.’
Others said: ‘Stop focusing on Nigel’s bottom please. Have some respect.’
‘@imacelebrity again showing Nigel’s bare body whilst bathing! Are they going to show Nella Rose’s bare bottom or Grace Dent’s bare body showering?’
It came after some viewers theorised that it might instead be a clever ruse on his behalf to get more airtime.
Nigel previously admitted he wants to take part in trials to receive 25 per cent of the show’s screen time.
