Top Boy season 3 is missing major character after dramatic end to last episode
Top Boy: Season 3 official trailer on Netflix
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Top Boy.
Top Boy fans are starting to immerse themselves in the world of the Summerhouse gang one last time but where is Aaron?
The Netflix London gang drama had an epic season finale last year and has now returned for one more outing, bringing the drug dealers’ story to a close for good.
Season two, episode eight, saw Sully (played by Kane “Kano” Robinson) knock on Jamie’s (Micheal Ward) door and shoot him twice in the chest and once in the head.
What made this moment even more devastating was the presence of Jamie’s younger brothers Aaron (Hope Ikpoku Jnr) and Stef (Araloyin Oshunremi) who watched their sibling die.
Going into season three though and Aaron is nowhere to be seen on the estate.

Where is Aaron in Top Boy?
While Aaron features in the second season of Top Boy on Netflix, he isn’t seen at all in the third and final outing.
In episode one, residents of the Summerhouse Estate are seen surrounding police cars as officers are trying to take away Kieron Walker-Smith (Joshua Blisset) due to immigration issues.
As Mandy (MC NoLay) is speaking to her daughter Erin (Savanah Graham) about the situation, Stef arrives with her mum encouraging him to come over, much to Erin’s embarrassment.
Mandy then asks the youngster: “How’s Aaron, I heard he was working up in Leeds.”

Stef then replies: “Yeah he’s good, he’s doing marketing.”
This is the last we hear of Aaron’s whereabouts with Stef forced to live in a home as he has no older relatives in the vicinity.
Behind the scenes, it isn’t clear exactly why actor Hope Ikpoku Jnr left Top Boy, whether it be a personal decision or a creative one from the writers.
Either way, according to his IMDb profile, Ikpoku Jnr has got two projects in the works, Faith and The Kitchen.
Going forward, the future isn’t looking bright for Aaron’s younger brother Stef.
With him in Leeds and Jamie now dead, Stef no longer has that all important support system around him.
So could this mean Stef will begin to rely on the estate’s gang in order to survive or could he turn a corner himself away from the life of drugs and guns?
Top Boy season three premieres on Thursday, September 7, on Netflix.
