These ‘To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You’ Book-To-Movie Changes Are Major

Before To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and its recently released sequel became rom-com must-sees on Netflix, they were first romance novels. Jenny Han’s first book in the series came out back in 2014, and she quickly continued up Lara Jean’s love story with two sequels in 2015 and 2017. Of course, translating a book into film always involves some changes to the original story, and that was definitely the case for Netflix’s second movie in the To All the Boys trilogy. These To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You book-to-movie changes reveal just how different the latest movie adaptation really is from its source material.

Spoiler alert: This post contains spoilers for To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. Netflix dropped the highly anticipated To All the Boys sequel on Friday, Feb. 12, just in time for Valentine’s Day, and fittingly, it introduced a brand new love interest for fans to fall for. While the first movie was all about Lara Jean’s undeniable chemistry with Peter Kavinsky, P.S. I Still Love You complicated their relationship by introducing Lara Jean’s former crush John Ambrose McClaren. The way the new movie played out had some pretty big differences from the original story, though.

1. The movie started way later into the book.

Because of how Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before adaptation was plotted, P.S. I Still Love You actually began several chapters deep into the story of the second book. Remember that whole scandal with Peter and Lara Jean getting caught making out in the hot tub? That is actually at the beginning of the second book, but it was included in the first movie instead. While the hot tub video only plays a small part in the second movie, it is a much bigger deal in the book, with Lara Jean’s dad even finding out about it.

2. Josh is missing.

Margot’s ex-boyfriend Josh is a big part of the first movie, but he’s totally missing from P.S. I Still Love You. That’s not the case in the second book, though. In the novel, Josh still hangs around Lara Jean and even gets a new girlfriend.

3. John Ambrose’s relationship with Lara Jean is very different.

In the movie, Lara Jean decides not to write back to John Ambrose when she receives his letter, but that isn’t the case in the book. The two actually write back and forth very often in the novel, becoming pen pals. Instead of developing their relationship through letters, the movie adaptation understandably wanted to bring the two together and made John Ambrose volunteer at Belleview with Lara Jean, which he does not do in the book.

4. Stormy is John Ambrose’s great grandmother in the book.

Lara Jean instantly bonded with Stormy in the movie due to her sister’s close bond with her in the past, but in the book, Stormy is much more crucial in bringing Lara Jean and John Ambrose together. That’s because she is actually John Ambrose’s great grandmother in the book, and her relation to him is the reason why John Ambrose hangs out at Belleview with Lara Jean. Of course, since the movie had already made John Ambrose as Belleview volunteer, it no longer needed Stormy to be his great grandmother in order to get him to be at Belleview.

5. Chris and Trevor never dated.

A fun new romance that popped up in P.S. I Still Love You was Lara Jean’s bestie Chris flirting up a storm with Peter’s buddy Trevor, but that couple never actually came together in the book. The two characters were part of the treehouse group in the book, but never flirting with each other.

6. There’s no Assassins.

For fans of the book, the most glaring omission from the new movie is that it does not include Assassins at all. In the book, the treehouse group plays a big, tag-like game called Assassins that leads to a lot of the major revelations in the story. For whatever reason, the game is completely absent from the movie, and Lara Jean and John Ambrose bond much more at Belleview rather than in playing the game together.

With all those changes, it is definitely a worthwhile task for fans who really enjoyed the Netflix movies to check out the books. Next up is the third and final film, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean, so now is the perfect time to read through all the books if you haven’t yet.

What Was Jughead’s Plan On ‘Riverdale’? It Could Explain His Season 4 Death

The moment that Riverdale fans have been waiting for all of Season 4 finally happened, but there are still some unanswered questions about what really went down in the woods behind Stonewall Prep. After half a season of teasing Jughead’s apparent death, Riverdale‘s Feb. 12 episode finally caught up to all those flash-forwards and showed the fateful moment. But was everything really as it seemed? The question of what Jughead’s plan on Riverdale was ahead of his trip to the woods could shed light on the truth.

Spoiler alert: This post contains spoilers for Riverdale Season 4, Episode 13, "The Ides of March." Ever since the Season 3 finale, Riverdale fans have been wondering if Jughead really is doomed to die. In that finale episode, a flash-forward to spring break of senior year showed Betty, Archie, and Veronica burning Jughead’s iconic beanie and agreeing to not talk about what happened. Throughout Season 4, the show has given fans even more shocking flash-forwards, including Jughead’s corpse on a slab, F. P. Jones arrested Betty, Archie, and Veronica for his murder, and most alarming of all, Betty standing over his dead body holding a large rock.

The storyline on Riverdale finally caught up to these disturbing flash-forwards on Wednesday night’s most recent episode, which ended with Archie and Veronica discovering Jughead’s dead body in the woods after the revelation that Donna was able to hypnotize Betty into hurting those she loved. While the ending seemed to clearly confirm that Betty did indeed kill Jughead, there is one tiny detail from earlier in the episode that should be taken into consideration. Prior to heading into the woods for Stonewall’s Ides of March party, Jughead confided in Betty that he had a plan… and it’s still unclear what that plan could have been.

After being accused of plagiarism and agreeing to leave Stonewall Prep, Jughead formulated some secret scheme after being invited to the Ides of March party. He told Betty to trust him and his plan, although he never actually revealed what his plan was.

The last time we see Jughead, he is putting on his Southside Serpents jacket, donning Bret’s rabbit mask, and pocketing a switchblade. The implication is that Jughead’s plan is simply to kill Bret at the party, but that seems like way too simple of a plan for Jughead. Since the masked Jughead did not speak a word when confronting Bret at the party, it almost seemed like maybe someone else had disguised themselves as the Serpent to take on Bret, but that possibility quickly fell to the wayside when Jughead took off the rabbit mask and briefly revealed his face while following Bret into the woods.

At the end of the episode, all fans really know is that Betty, Jughead, Donna, and Bret were in those woods together, and something big went down. Of course, we’re meant to believe Donna really did learn Betty’s trigger word from Evelyn and used it to sick Betty on Jughead, but something tells me that secret plan Jughead was talking about may have involved him faking his own death. Could he and Betty secretly be working together on some twisted scheme to expose the truth about Stonewall Prep once and for all through making everyone else think that Jughead was killed? It’s unclear why faking a murder would help their grand plan, but Riverdale fans know better than to count any possibilities out, no matter how wild they may seem.

5 Last-Minute Date Ideas For Valentine’s Day, So You & Bae Can Make The Most Of It

Get excited, because the most romantic day of the year is already right around the corner. If you’re feeling the pressure and having a hard time planning something special for you and your partner, these last-minute date ideas for Valentine’s Day are exactly what you need. V-Day can be stressful, but even if you feel like you have to plan some extravagant, fancy date weeks in advance, don’t freak. Stay true to yourself, even if it means doing something low-key with the person you love. That’s the whole point, isn’t it?

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be anything other than what you and your partner want it to be. If you want to just stay in and do nothing, it’s totally fine to do just that. If you want to treat Valentine’s Day just like any other holiday where you eat great food and spend quality time together, that’s OK too. Because no matter how much money you want to spend, where you want to go, or how long you’ve been together, there are tons of ways you and your partner can make the most out of this Valentine’s Day, even if you make last-minute plans. Here are some ideas to get you started.

1. Try Role-Playing, In & Out Of The Bedroom.

If you and your partner want to spice things up this Valentine’s Day, try role playing. Pretend to be strangers who meet at a bar, then head home to get it on. Throw on some wigs and try out a fake accent or two.

As Jacq Jones, sex educator and the owner of Sugar, a sex toy store in Baltimore, previously told Elite Daily, you can make things even more exciting by taking sex out of the bedroom.

"Make the bedroom off limits for a bit," Jones said. "Have sex in the living room, the bathroom, the hallway — whatever works (without [terrifying] the kids or the neighbors). Changing the location makes things feel different and new!"

2. Order Your Favorite Take-Out & Have A Nice, Romantic Night In.

If you’re planning a last-minute Valentine’s Day, it might be hard to get a reservation at a nice restaurant. Don’t bother with the crowds, up-charges, and having to put on nice clothes.

Stay in with your partner, order your favorite take-out, and spend time together. Play a game, watch your favorite movie, or just stare into each other’s eyes. Do what makes you happy with the person you love. After all, that’s what Valentine’s Day is about, not a fancy restaurant.

3. Go On A Road Trip, Even If It’s Just For A Day.

If you’re sick of staying home, hit the road! Go to a cool city nearby and stay the night, or hang out for the day. Take a train, bus, drive, fly — whatever works!

Consider it an adventure.

4. Take A Class Together.

If you want to learn something new together, Valentine’s Day might be the perfect time. Take a dance, cooking, or pottery class. Plus, packed reservations abound at restaurants, so chances are, it’ll probably be easier to reserve a class on Valentine’s Day than a table.

5. Cook A Special Meal Together & Exchange Love Letters.

If you really want to bond with your partner on Valentine’s Day, then go all-out in the romance department. Buy a bunch of candles, find a delicious recipe to cook together, and have a cozy night in. You can enjoy dinner while exchanging love letters and talking about what you appreciate about each other. It’s a great opportunity to reminisce on how you met and how much you’ve grown as a couple.

Valentine’s Day can be intimidating, but if you just want to relax and focus on you and your partner, stick to one of these date ideas and you’ll have a great, stress-free time.

4 Zodiac Signs To Date If You’re An Extrovert, Because Balance Is Key

If you’re an extrovert, you know the challenge of finding people who can keep up with you socially. Your constant enthusiasm is contagious, and you’re probably always the life of the party. Since you get your energy from being around other people, you’d rather spend a Friday night out with your crew than sit at home watching Netflix to recharge. But when you’re looking for a partner, the best zodiac signs to date if you’re an extrovert are sometimes the ones who are a little more reserved.

You know the “opposites attract” idea. It’s been the foundation of some of the most beloved TV and movie couples of all time. There’s Rachel and Ross on Friends, Danny and Sandy on Grease, Angela and Dwight on The Office — the list goes on and on. There are many reasons that people gravitate toward dating their opposite. “People are attracted to qualities they admire in the other person, Priscilla Martinez, online life coach at Blush, previously told Elite Daily. “A lot of times, those are qualities that we don’t actually have ourselves.” Martinez explained that people seek “balance” when looking for a partner, even if they do so unintentionally. Dating someone who challenges your way of seeing things can bring excitement, spontaneity, and growth to your life.

That said, there’s no perfect partner for anyone, and it really comes down to your individual connection with someone. But if you’re seeking a good counterbalance to your extroverted tendencies, here are four zodiac signs who might be a great match for you.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – Mar. 20)

Pisceans are natural romantics, and their head is in the clouds 99% of the time you’re with them. Their dreamy and intuitive personality makes them an inspiring person to be around. A Pisces can make you feel like the most important person in the world, but they’re a bit shy and slow to open up, so they’re happy dating someone who takes the lead at first.

Your Pisces partner will be gentle and patient when you want to vent after a long day. They’re adaptable and down to accompany you to social gatherings, but don’t expect them to be the center of attention — that’s not usually their thing. They’re extremely connected to their emotional side, which makes them a great balancing point for someone who isn’t used to being open about how they feel. A Pisces will never judge you, but they’ll always make you feel seen.

Taurus (Apr. 20 – May 20)

Ever feel like you need a grounding influence in your life? A Taurus will be that person for you, hands down. This earth sign loves consistency and stability, and they’re happiest when they find a loving partner and routine that they enjoy. Your Taurus partner will bring you back down to earth (literally) when your brain is going a million miles per hour. They’re happy to just enjoy life without packing a million things onto the agenda.

Taureans love luxury, so they’ll enjoy a night out on the town every once in awhile (so long as you take them to their favorite go-to spots). They can’t be bothered by stress, but don’t try to do something new they weren’t expecting. They have stubborn tendencies and may not respond well to change. But you can count on a Taurus to stick with you through thick and thin, and you’ll find them to be extremely loving behind that tough exterior.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Cancers are the best listeners out there. They’re extremely in tune to the emotions of others, and they’re also a bit nosy, so they can entertain your thoughts for hours on end without getting tired. Your Cancer partner is charming AF and knows how to captivate an audience when you’re out in public together. But don’t let that fool you — they love nothing more than being alone with you and letting their guard down.

A Cancer partner is a great match for an extrovert because they know how to function well in a crowd or on their own. Their mood is always changing, which means they’ll be down to socialize one minute and chill out the next. Cancers don’t trust people easily, so they need a partner who is willing to go out on a limb to make them feel special. And your dynamic and fearless personality is perfect for this role.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

Who better to balance you out than the sign of balance? Libras are obsessed with keeping everything fair, happy, and peaceful. They’re very open-minded and always looking to hear all sides of an argument before making a decision. If you tend to speak before you think (as many extroverts do), a Libra can keep you from getting carried away by challenging you to see other perspectives.

Libras aren’t great with conflict, however, and they sometimes struggle to make decisions because they want to make everyone happy. The best partner for a Libra is someone who pushes them outside their comfort zone and spurs them to take a stance on things (so long as you’ve given them adequate time to think through every option).

When they’re with the right person, these four signs all make devoted and caring romantic partners. They will embrace your extroverted tendencies while providing some much-needed equilibrium in your life, so you can take a break from socializing and breathe easy on occasion.

8 Celebrity Weddings That’ll Happen In 2020, So Get Excited

I may never get invited to a celebrity wedding, but I’ll never stop being obsessed with them. Though A-listers tend to keep details about their upcoming nuptials on the down-low, some stars are kind enough to divulge their wedding dates ahead of time, and I’ve already got my calendar marked with all the celebrity weddings happening in 2020. From royal weddings to reality TV weddings, there are a bunch of exciting celebrations taking place this year, and I can’t wait read about everything from cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres to how much money they spent on flowers. (TBH, I’m pretty sure celebrities just have weddings so their fans can live vicariously through them, and I’m not mad about it.)

While some celebs have only hinted about a 2020 wedding, at least eight celebrity couples (including three pairs of Bachelor Nation alums) have confirmed they’ll be exchanging wedding bands before 2021. A few have even provided their exact date and location, so they shouldn’t be surprised when I roll up on the big day ready to celebrate. (You’ve been warned, Karamo and Ian. And you, too, Raven and Adam.) Here are all the A-list couples who’ll be taking a walk down the aisle in 2020.

Taraji P. Henson & Kelvin Hayden

Empire star Taraji P. Henson and her former NFL cornerback SO, Kelvin Hayden, got engaged over Mother’s Day weekend in 2018 after two years of quietly dating. The actor shared the news of the proposal on Instagram on May 14.

"I said yes y’all!!!" Henson captioned the picture, which showed off her new bling. "He started with the Cartier love bracelet BUT that was my #Mothersday gift and then he dropped to his knee and I almost passed out!!! #sheisofficiallyoffthemarket and she is sooooooooooooo HAPPY!!!!!!"

Though Henson is pretty tight-lipped about her relationship with the former football pro, she did reveal to Entertainment Tonight in Sept. 2019 that she and Hayden would tie the knot on April 4, 2020 in California’s wine country. "That is where he said he fell in love with me," she added. "We both went to the wine country and it was our first time together at the same time. He had never been, I had never been, and I did feel him fall in love."

Princess Beatrice & Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

Prince William and Prince Harry’s cousin, Princess Beatrice, announced her engagement to businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on Sept. 26, 2019, after just about a year of dating.

Since Beatrice doesn’t have a public Instagram account, her younger sister, Eugenie, shared the news on her own Instagram, saying, "I’m so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It’s been a long time coming and you two are meant to be." Mozzi also posted his own Instagram, which he captioned, "You will never be alone my love, my heart is your home. Hand in hand, today, tomorrow and forever."

The wedding will take place on May 29, 2020, according to People, though the location hasn’t yet been made public. However, it has been revealed that, unfortunately, the wedding won’t be broadcast on TV. A source close to Beatrice reportedly told People that she wants a smaller, quieter affair than Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s extravagant Oct. 2018 celebration at Windsor Castle.

Raven Gates & Adam Gottschalk

Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk fell for each other on season four of Bachelor In Paradise back in 2017, but they decided to take their time rather than get engaged during the season finale. Finally, three days after Gottschalk proposed to Gates on a Dallas rooftop on May 31, 2019, they both took to Instagram to share the news.

Gates captioned her post with lyrics from Shania Twain’s "Forever And Always," while Gottschalk captioned his own post, "5.31.19. #Engaged." On July 17, Gates also shared a video of the big moment.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the BiP alums will tie the knot on May 30, 2020, at Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, Texas. The couple has also announced that they won’t be televising their interfaith wedding. "Adam has specific requests for the wedding, what he would like drink-wise, music-wise, which check, check, we got that done. But he’s leaving it to me," Gates told ET. "I have the big stuff done. It’s just, like, the little minor details."

Karamo Brown & Ian Jordan

After more than eight years of dating, Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown proposed to his TV director boyfriend, Ian Jordan, on May 9, 2018, which also happened to be Jordan’s birthday. Brown planned a surprise party for his boo at Hyde Sunset in LA, and Entertainment Tonight was there to capture the magical moment.

The culture expert then announced their engagement on Instagram the next day, captioning his photo, "Last night, in front of family & friends, I asked my best friend and the love of my life, ‘will you marry me?’ He said YESSS!!!! I’m engaged!" In his own post, Jordan said, "I said yes!!!! I love you @karamobrown with all my heart and look forward to spending my life with you and conquering the world!!!!"

Only a month after proposing, Brown told The Knot that he and Jordan had already picked a date and location for the special day. The two will get married on Oct. 10, 2020 at the Merv Griffin Estate in Palm Springs. "We want all of our friends from college and our family — mine is overseas from Jamaica and Cuba — to be there, so we had to plan," he explained.

Stassi Schroeder & Beau Clark

Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder and her boo Beau Clark, who works in casting, announced their engagement on July 31, 2019, after Clark got down on one knee at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, which was, apparently, Schroeder’s dream proposal.

"OMG. I feel like Meghan Markle," Schroeder jokingly captioned her Instagram announcement, while Clark captioned his post, "Sloppy Kisses 4 Life! #FromDarkToClark." The two dated for about a year and a half before deciding to make things official.

Schroeder and Clark have already decided to walk down the aisle in October 2020 in Rome, Italy, as Schroeder revealed during a live taping of her podcast Basically Stassi at BravoCon in November. "Beau and I agreed on, right when we got engaged, that we don’t want to sweat at our wedding. We are not going to sweat. No one at my wedding is going to sweat." She also told Us Weekly that they plan on having a "smaller, intimate wedding."

Kevin Wendt & Astrid Loch

A year after they first met in Mexico, Bachelor alums Kevin Wendt and Astrid Loch (who fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise season five) got engaged on Toronto Island during a sunset picnic on Aug. 28, 2019. The couple didn’t share the news of their engagement on Instagram until nearly a week later.

"08.28.19. I could have sworn the world stood still in this moment. A moment I’ll never forget. Just you + me," Loch captioned her post. In his own post, Wendt said, "You’ll never walk alone again. From here on out, we run together. Astrid you are my family, babe. Forever."

In December, Loch shared their wedding plans on Instagram. According to her post, the two are getting hitched in Nov. 2020 in Sarasota, Florida, and she asked her followers for some Florida-based vendor recommendations. "LET THE WEDDING PLANNING BEGIN," she captioned her pic, showing her sparkly ring and a wedding-planning journal. "I may have already found a dress too (priorities). But now I’m stuck so help a girl out."

Bindi Irwin & Chandler Powell

The late Steve Irwin’s daughter, Bindi Irwin, announced on her 21st birthday — July 24, 2019 — that her long-time boyfriend had popped the question at the Australia Zoo. Chandler Powell and Bindi Irwin first met when the pro wakeboarder visited the zoo while Irwin was working there in 2013, and they were instantly smitten.

In her Instagram post announcing the engagement, Irwin gushed, "Chandler, close to 6 years ago I fell in love with you and every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure and true happiness." In his own post, Powell said, "Proposing in her very favorite place in the zoo, surrounded by animals, seemed like the perfect way to embark on this incredible new chapter in our lives."

In September, Irwin confirmed in an Instagram post that she’d found her dream dress. She and Powell also told Good Morning America that their wedding would be held, fittingly, at the Australia Zoo. ""It’s where we met, it’s where we got engaged, it only makes sense to have it at the Australia Zoo," said Powell. They haven’t picked (or at least revealed) a date yet, but they have confirmed that the nuptials will take place in 2020.

JoJo Fletcher & Jordan Rodgers

View this post on Instagram

I love @joelle_fletcher with all my heart!! I always wanted to re-propose, with no cameras, no producers, no drama…just us. Our first engagement was so real, and meant so much to us both, but as we start to actually plan our wedding for next year I wanted to do it all over again, OUR WAY! So I bought a new ring, made a plan (that almost fell apart multiple times), and got down on one knee all over again. This time it was simple: Joelle is the love of my life, she is my rock, she is the funniest, strongest, and sweetest person I have ever known. The first time around I fell in love with a lot of what you all love about JoJo. But this time around I got on one knee and vowed to honor and protect her heart, which is the greatest part of her. She loves her family, her friends, me, and complete strangers with the most pure love a human can give. And THAT is what I love most about her most. How she treats people, how she loves people, and how she makes me a better man. And that is what I will always love, cherish, and protect the most! So this time the promise and commitment were the same as the first, but this time my love for her has grown a million times over. And 50 years from now I’ll look back and it’ll have grown a million times over again. And so the greatest adventure in life begins (again)…with the my best friend. Let’s get F’ing married already 😘(And let me tell you SHE HAD NO IDEA 😂, videos and more pictures to come!)

A post shared by Jordan Rodgers (@jrodgers11) on

Season 12 Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and former pro quarterback Jordan Rodgers originally got engaged at the end of their season of The Bachelorette back in 2016. After spending a few years engaged (and getting a lot of pressure from fans to plan a wedding), Rodgers surprised Fletcher by proposing for a second time, and they took to Instagram to announce the big news on Aug. 25, 2019.

"The show brought us together and set us up for a truly amazing proposal the first time around, but this time was all YOU. And that means everything and more to me," Fletcher captioned her post, while Rodgers captioned his post, "And so the greatest adventure in life begins (again)…with the my best friend. Let’s get F’ing married already." Rodgers also shared a video of the special moment on Sept. 19.

Now that the two are engaged (for the second time), the wedding planning has officially begun. "It’ll be between, like, May and July of next year,” Fletcher revealed to Us Weekly in September. She also revealed that the nuptials would take place in California. Rodgers dropped a hint about the potential date in a New Year’s Day Instagram post, where he suggested that their wedding day would take place in "T-Minus 6 months (ish) & counting!!"

Happy planning to you all, and for those who haven’t nailed down their dates and venues yet, please LMK when you do.

Tyler Cameron’s Comment On Jennifer Garner’s Instagram Is So Thirsty

Though things seem to be heating up between Tyler Cameron and Stassie Karanikolaou, it’s possible that the Bachelorette alum may also have his sights set on another lady. On Jan. 23, Jennifer Garner — who’s basically the embodiment of sugar, spice, and everything nice — posted her own version of the LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram/Tinder meme. But rather than simply giving the photo a double-tap, Cameron decided to dive into Garner’s comment section to express his approval. Sliding into Gigi Hadid’s DMs may have worked for him, but I’m not sure Tyler Cameron’s comment on Jennifer Garner’s Instagram was quite as successful.

After a fan commented to suggest Garner switch around her Instagram and Tinder pics, Garner jokingly replied, "Shoot, is THAT why no one swipes?" (Bless her heart!) And that’s when Cameron saw his opening and decided to shoot his shot. "I’m still swiping right," he said, and considering that Garner hasn’t even liked his comment, I’m not sure how likely it is that he’ll be getting a rose. Garner has also reportedly been dating CaliGroup CEO John Miller for well over a year now. Sorry, Tyler C., but I don’t think you’ll be coming across Garner’s profile on Tinder anytime soon. Nice try, though.

The plot thickens. #CommentsByCelebs

A post shared by Comments By Celebs (@commentsbycelebs) on

Cameron and Kylie Jenner’s BFF Stassie Karanikolaou first sparked dating rumors in late November, about a month after he reportedly split with Gigi Hadid. After a number of sightings (and lots of PDA), an insider for E! News claimed that Cameron wanted to keep things casual. "Tyler Cameron is not interested in dating Stassie," the insider said "He is back in LA for a few weeks and purely wants to have fun. They have been texting recently, but are absolutely not going to date." Most recently, the two celebrated New Year’s Eve together in Miami, though another source for E! News insisted that "it is all just fun to them and they enjoy hanging out when it is convenient."

Shortly after Garner’s divorce from her husband of 10 years, Ben Affleck, was finalized, People reported that Garner was back on the dating scene. Less than a month later, rumors spread that Garner was dating only one man in particular. Though John Miller didn’t accompany Garner to the 2020 SAG Awards and she has yet to speak publicly about her beau, the two are reportedly still going strong.

Cameron might be having fun right now, but it seems as though Garner is spoken for. Still, to borrow a phrase you’ve definitely seen in too many Tinder bios, you lose 100% of the shots you don’t take, right?

Hulu’s ‘Little Fires Everywhere’ Trailer Pits Reese Witherspoon Against Kerry Washington

Reese Witherspoon is on a roll teaming up with other women to create TV for a female audience, starring actresses in roles that might not otherwise exist. Her latest venture is airing on Hulu. It is an adaptation of Celeste Ng’s novel Little Fires Everywhere, which her Hello Sunshine production company is producing in conjunction with Kerry Washington’s Simpson Street. The two actresses are set to star in the miniseries as well. From the looks of Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere trailer, it’s going to be a tour de force.

Little Fires Everywhere is Ng’s second book, after her debut novel, Everything I Never Told You, won Amazon Book of the Year and became a bestseller. Little Fires Everywhere went on to be named Goodreads Choice Awards for fiction in 2017. The story, which is set in Shaker Heights, OH in the mid-1990s, features two families — the Richardsons and the Warrens — who become intertwined after Elena Richardson rents to Mia Warren and her daughter Pearl. Witherspoon stars as Elena, who is an uptight ambitious suburbanite with a "perfect" family. Washington plays Mia, a photographer and sometimes drifter, whose life is full of secrets.

For those looking forward to seeing the flames spring up when Witherspoon and Washington clash, the trailer promises a lot of sizzle.

Here’s the series’ official synopsis:

The cast includes Joshua Jackson as Elna’s husband Bill Richardson, and Jordan Elsass, Gavin Lewis, Jade Pettyjohn, and Megan Stott as children Trip, Moody, Lexi, and Izzy. Lexi Underwood plays Pearl Warren, Mia’s daughter. Rosemarie DeWitt and Huang Lu also star.

Little Fires Everywhere is scheduled to debut on Hulu on March 18, 2020. It is not confirmed how many episodes Hulu will release the first week. Most assume it will follow what has become standard procedure for the streaming service, and begin with two or three installments for the debut, and then one episode a week to follow.
