Corrie fans floored as Eva and Aidan stars make major return to TV screens
Coronation Street fans are over the moon as beloved duo Eva Price and Aidan Connor are set to return to TV screens.
The couple, played by Catherine Tyldesley and Shayne Ward, became smitten on the soap back in 2017 – and were even set to to the knot.
But as viewers will remember, there were fireworks when Eva found out about Aidan’s affair with Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon).

She then teamed up with Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) to get her revenge on Aidan after he left her heartbroken.
But after falling on hard times, Aidan tragically took his own life in 2018 leaving Eva utterly devastated – and she eventually left the soap later that year.
But fans of the on-screen couple will be delighted to know the pair are reuniting for a brand new TV series.
The two are joining forces once again – away from the cobbles – in the upcoming Channel 5 drama, The Good Ship Murder.
Shayne will be playing Jack Grayling, a former police detective turned aspiring cabaret singer who is aboard a luxury Mediterranean cruise ship.
In a shocking turn of events, he soon finds himself embroiled in a murder investigation alongside ship's First Officer Kate Woods, played by Catherine.
Shayne posted a clip of the trailer on his Instagram page on Sunday (September 10) where he wrote: "A Channel 5 Original Drama The Good Ship Murder. Coming soon!"
As expected, fans were excited to hear the news of their reunion and rushed over to the comments section.
One follower penned: “Been waiting for this. Loved them together,” while someone else said: “Good to see you two back together.”
A third chimed in and penned: “EVA AND AIDAN ARE BACK.”
Another follower said:”No omg you and cath,” as a fifth proclaimed: “Looks amazing @shaynetward and reunited with corrie too.”
