Jeff Brazier, 44, gobsmacked as Strictly son Bobby, 20, makes ‘fat’ jibe on Celebrity Gogglebox
Jeff Brazier was left shocked by comments made by Bobby Brazier on Friday night’s episode of Celebrity Gogglebox, after his son made comments about his weight.
The Strictly Come Dancing star and his dad are regulars on this year's celebrity edition and have quickly become favourites among viewers.
On the latest episode of the show, Jeff mentioned that Bobby and his younger son Freddie often borrow his clothes, as he said: “What is with you kids, why do you have to wear my pants? I never wear your pants, why would I wear your pants? For starters, they're too small”.
Bobby responded with a cheeky comment, telling his dad that he didn’t wear their clothes because he was “too fat”.
Jeff looked nothing short of unimpressed as he turned to his son and responded: “you're not allowed to say that!”. After being asked “why?” by Bobby, Jeff replied: “Because I'm not [fat]. If you're anywhere near as fit as me at 44!”
Bobby will be returning to screens once again tonight as he will be taking to the dance floor with professional dancer Dianne Buswell.
For week seven of the dancing competition, Bobby and Dianne will be performing an Argentine Tango after receiving 30 points last week for their cha-cha-cha.
Dianne and Bobby have been keeping their fans updated on their training via Instagram, and recently shared a video montage of one of their warm ups.
Dianne captioned the video: “Dancing the freestyle it’s bobby brazier and his partner dianne buswell !!!! this is how we warm up!”
It comes and fans think they've worked out which dancing pair will be stepping off the dance floor for a final time this weekend.
As the competition heats up, fans believe actor Adam Thomas – who was in the dance-off last week – will be the next star to leave, and many took to social media to share their predictions.
One fan said: “Rumba for Adam post a dance off? Yeah it’s not looking good”, while another added: “hey want Adam to go next, don't they?”.
Last week, former Love Island star Zara Mcdermott became the fifth contestant to be eliminated from the show alongside her partner Graziano Di Prima. The couple were in the dance off against Adam and his partner Luba Mushtuk.
After leaving the show, Zara praised the production team and said it was an "honour and privilege" to take part in Strictly, branding the show "iconic" and "magical".
