Big Brother’s Farida spotted on what is being labelled the worst Come Dine With Me ever

Big Brother star Farida has been spotted in a resurfaced episode of Come Dine With Me.

But the makeup artist, 50, from Wolverhampton, starred on what has been labelled as the worst Come Dine With Me ever, after contestant Lee left his guests unimpressed with his questionable cooking skills.

Farida, who is one of the first Big Brother contestants alongside Kerry, to be facing eviction and could be leaving the house during the first live axing on tonight, rated Lee's meal shocking low during the show.

The nominations of who will be facing the public vote on Big Brother come following a rather dramatic first week in the iconic house with a feud starting between Farida and Kerry.

It's not the first time Farida has made some bold statements. During her appearance on Come Dine With Me in 2009, she did little to hide her strong opinion of competitor Lee's hosting skills.

In a resurfaced clip, Farida says: "Does he not realise we are guests?"

Then, later during a talk with the camera, she adds: "If this was in a restaurant, I would have walked out ages ago."

As the group sit down to try the meals that Lee concocted, Farida cheekily quips: "Shall we ring for a takeaway?"

They tucked into a chicken casserole which one contestant likened to "vegetable soup with chicken in".

Farida commented: "The mashed potato actually makes me feel a bit sick," before trying to palm her portion of chicken off to someone else.

She later admitted that she didn't like the meal and scored the contestant a 1.

She said: "Lee you're lucky to even get a 1, let me tell you boy!"

Elsewhere on the 2009 episode, Farida aimed to immerse her guests in authentic Indian culture. But all didn't go to plan as some dinner party attendees were left less than impressed.

One guest, Michael, rated Farida's evening a mediocre seven out of 10, saying the dinner was lacking the "wow factor". Explaining his reasons for the score, he said, "The evening lacked a wow factor… and because of the lack of alcohol for the guest."

At the end of the show, a preview of the next episode saw tensions rise between Farida and Michael as they stood in a child's bedroom.

Having voiced her opinion on something, Michael heatedly replied, "How many kids have you had? You say what my sister, you've never had a kid in your life." The pair hurriedly spoke over one another, as another guest could be seen minding his business in the background.

Aside from her stint on Come Dine With Me, Farida also appeared on an episode of Blankety Blank – a game show previously hosted by Paul O'Grady before Bradley Walsh took the reins in 2022.

But Farida's not the only Big Brother contestant who's no stranger to the world of showbiz.
