Big Brother’s Hallie makes ‘brave’ confession while Olivia fumes over co-star

It's all kicking off in the Big Brother household tonight (October 9) as Hallie shares a major update with her housemates while Olivia is left raging over a co-star's habit.

The hit series made an epic comeback on Sunday evening, with twelve new contestants making their debut. But tensions are already starting to rise as the housemates get acquainted with one another.

Before the drama unfolds, Hallie lets her housemates know something she's been holding back. Gathering them all around, she says: "I thought I’d let everyone know I’m trans, if you didn’t know already. I just thought I’d make that loud and clear. I’m a trans woman if you didn’t know."

Supporting her, Hallie's fellow housemates give her a hug. Chanelle then says: "Good for you. That’s very brave of you."

Encouraging Hallie, Dylan says: "This is a moment. I like it."

Hallie then confesses that she was anxious to share her news. She then says: "I don’t know why I was nervous." A touching moment is shared amongst the group as Farida replies: "You don’t need to be nervous."

But not long after, the mood shifts when Olivia voices her concerns over sharing food. On Sunday night's show, Olivia couldn't hold back her frustrations when Jenkins unknowingly put her up for the public vote after a twisted game of pass the parcel.

But she appears to reach boiling point again when Farida asks whether she can have some of her salmon. While Olivia is eating her lunch in the kitchen, Farida says: "Can I have a little taste of salmon? I’m much more of a fish person than a chicken person."

Farida then proceeds to eat some of Olivia’s salmon. But Olivia appears to lose her cool regarding the matter and soon heads into the garden.

Speaking candidly to some of her fellow housemates, Olivia says: "Opinions on sharing food? I was eating my salmon and my corn and Farida was like ‘Can I have some of your corn? And I was like ‘ yeah, go for it.'

"Then she started eating my salmon, my actual lunch. She had a spoon and was eating off my plate."

Confused by the matter, Olivia then says: "I was a bit like, "I don’t know how I feel about this."

Big Brother returns on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
