Emmerdale fans make same complaint over beloved character’s ‘personality change’

Emmerdale: Harry revealed as Chloe’s dad

Many Emmerdale fans all thought the same thing as they watched Tuesday’s episode of the ITV soap. As Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) continued to upset those around him with his nasty behaviour, viewers wondered why the soap has given him such a “personality change”.

Aaron has been obnoxiously taking his anger out on everyone in the village since he returned recently. He has been particularly cruel to his mother, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

The previous episode saw Aaron and Ethan Anderson (Emile John) going home together, and in another state of rage, Aaron humiliated Ethan in the pub on Tuesday. After telling him he thought they had “chemistry,” he laughed at Ethan’s hopeful response.

“Sorry, I was trying to keep it in, it’s just it’s too funny,” Aaron remarked.

He continued: “As if that’s ever going to happen again.”

“It was just sex,” he added, in front of a crowded pub listening to their conversation.

He continued, nastily: “And to be honest with you, it wasn’t that good, so why would I want to waste another minute on a boring, needy bloke who’s desperate for love like you? It’s pathetic.”

“Aaron, that is enough,” a horrified Chas cut in.

Taking to X, fans asked why Aaron had changed so much.
