Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ Harry’s true identity and link to Chloe Harris

Emmerdale fans have been playing detective as they believe they have worked out the true identity of villainous newcomer Harry.

In a surprising twist, some fans have suggested the ITV soap could be about to reveal that Harry is really Chloe Harris's father, who was in prison when she arrived in the village.

Harry (Robert Beck) has ruffled feathers in the Dales as a demanding client of the chauffeur company, with viewers discovering that he was at the centre of illegal activity at the company that Caleb Miligan (William Ash) was trying to stamp out.

But Harry didn't like Caleb's meddling and tried to intimidate him into continuing to deal in illegal guns – and now, he's turned his attentions to Caleb's half-sister Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

In Monday's episode, viewers saw Harry target a vulnerable Chas on the fifth anniversary of her baby daughter Grace's death, who passed away just minutes after she was born.

Chas had been to visit her grave with Grace's father Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) but was left feeling even lower when he said he was going on to have lunch with Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) instead, prompting Chas to head for The Hide to drown her sorrows.

Harry joined her over a bottle of wine, but introduced himself as "Simon" and gained Chas's trust as she sank more glasses of wine, eventually inviting him back for a nightcap.

Back at Chas's place, Harry started asking questions about her family and when she left him to spend the night on the sofa, he was seen staring at a photo of Caleb and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

He's also set to take Chas on a terrifying countryside drive in forthcoming episodes, where he will switch into a rage as they find themselves on their own and far from home with Caleb and Cain desperately trying to find them.

Viewers of the soap love trying to guess where the storyline will go next, and theories have been circulating on social media that there is more drama to come for Harry as he could be Chloe Harris's (Jessie Elland) real dad.

One viewer tweeted: "This Harry is obviously Chloe’s dad ain’t he."

Someone else commented on his involvement with guns at the chauffeur company: "This Harry has gotta be Chloe’s dad right he sounds dangerous! Though Its emmerdale so in reality it’s probably just a water pistol."

Another fan predicted: "Harry is chloe's dad."

Chloe arrived in Emmerdale as the daughter of gangster Damon, who had been mistreating her but was in prison while she looked for a fresh start.

She soon discovered that Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) was her real mother, and her biggest storyline to date has been having a baby from her affair with Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
