Former Strictly Come Dancing star Eddie Kadi has opened up about his secret connection to Big Brother contestant Trish.

During Wednesday’s instalment (November 1) of Big Brother Late & Live, beloved host AJ Odudu welcomed fans back after another jaw-dropping episode. Throughout the episode, the housemates were still dealing with the fallout of Tuesday's (October 31) surprise eviction which saw Kerry leave the show.

Later on, Dylan came to blows with Trish after he found out that she had also put him up for eviction after she was selected as the ‘possessed’ housemate. Although the pair appeared to bury the hatchet, it was clear to see their feelings towards each other were still strong as housemates stepped into the diary room to nominate.

After all the housemates submitted their votes, it was revealed that Dylan, Nocky, Paul and Trish will be the next housemates to face the public vote ahead of Friday night’s (November 3) live eviction. Nocky received six nominations, Trish received five with Paul and Dylan both receiving four each.

When the drama-filled episode came to an end, AJ welcomed her famous friends Donna Preston, Jordan Stephens and Eddie Kadi onto the show to discuss the explosive episode just moments after it left the airwaves.

At the start of the show, the Blackburn-native asked the star-studded panel for their thoughts on the housemates nominated on the ITV show. The comedian was quick to share his love for doting mum Trish as he revealed his connection to the star.

He confessed: "First of all, let's make it clear: I'm team Trish. She's Congolese and I actually know her, I actually know Trish. Genuinely I do know Trish, we're in the same kind of circles in the Congolese community."

Musician Jordan Stephens wasn't convinced by the comic's claim to fame, and immediately asked him how they knew each other. The Rizzle Kicks star asked: "From where? When was the last time you saw her?"

Eddie candidly replied: "The last time I saw was probably about a year ago, yeah. We're besties, yeah." It was at this point that Eddie asked the singer-turned-actor: "Are you challenging me?"

Jordan quickly defended himself and laughed off the awkward moment, joking: "I'm just looking for specificities, don't hate me." But it was clear to see that the comic was determined to defend his pal when AJ pushed him for his thoughts on her recent arguments.
