After seemingly retiring from acting in 2020, Gwyneth Paltrow revealed she would consider returning to acting if the right person asked.
Following decades in the public eye for her career and highly publicised relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Gwyneth noticeably stepped back from the spotlight.
After founding her lifestyle and wellness brand Goop in 2016, the 51-year-old has been fully immersed in the successful company which was valued this year at $423 million (£340 million).
Although the shift has paid off, the entrepreneur told Entertainment Tonight only Robert Downey Jr could persuade her to return to screens.
Gwyneth admitted: “Well, it would be very hard for me to do any acting right at the moment, just because of my job.

The two famously starred together on Marvel’s hit film series Iron Man where Gwyneth starred as Pepper Potts, Tony Starks’ (played by Robert Downey Jr) assistant and girlfriend.
Together they starred in all three instalments of the action film and in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
Following the recent confirmation of Iron Man’s return to screens, it’s yet to be seen if Gwyneth will be persuaded to reprise her fan-favourite role.
