I’m A Celebrity fans go wild as JLS add Sam Thompson to their custom condom line
Boyband JLS have added a new member to their 2010 condom line-up: none other than jungle king Sam Thompson.
Each member of JLS, including heartthrobs Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Oritsé Williams, and JB Gill, originally had their own branded condom box. But now, after Thompson's hilarious stint alongside Marvin on ITV's I'm A Celeb and confessing his massive JLS fandom, he's been cheekily immortalized as the fifth face on their scintillating range.
The video reveal, which featured on JLS’ Instagram, lines up the condom boxes to the JLS hit lyrics “you only get one shot, so make it count,” with Thompson's box making a grand, fifth appearance. There's even a playful jab with “XS” boldly printed on Sam's packet.

Thompson himself quipped: “Make sure you wrap up this winter,” sparking a frenzy in the comments. Fans are in stitches over the video, dubbing it a brilliantly cheeky gag.
"Dying at the XS detail on Sam's box!" laughed one fan, while even Durex couldn't resist joining in, teasing: “We know a good fit when we see one.” Thompson's sister, Made in Chelsea's Louise Thompson, was left baffled, questioning: “Was this a paid partnership? Or just for fun?” with a string of shocked emojis.
JLS's JB clarified: “he’s just a few years late…but better late than never!” Reflecting on the condom range, Marvin shared at the time: “Our Just Love Safe concept was all about promoting safe sex to our fans over 16. It's vital to always use a condom.”
And it seems the foursome knew their venture might attract some wild fan reactions. “We're used to underwear being thrown at us, but now we're bracing for flying condom boxes!" Marvin joked. "But hey, love needs to be wrapped safely.”
Aston first set the ball rolling for the condom range, explaining: “It's all about staying safe. We all think so. “My mum sends me down a stash of condoms and I dish them out to the lads so none of us have to worry. I'd really be up for doing some kind of campaign about safe sex.”
The X Factor stars of 2008 also nudged show judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole to back their safe sex drive. JB enthusiastically said” “Anyone who wants to spread this message is welcome – imagine if Cheryl or Simon joined in. The more the merrier! So, Mr. Cowell, let's promote safe sex together!”
