Friends star Matthew Perry dies aged 54
Following his tragic death on Saturday, October 28th, the Los Angeles County coroner has released Matthew Perry’s body to his family for funeral arrangements.
This comes after it was revealed his cause of death is still being determined after he died in an apparent drowning at 54 years old
The Friends star was reportedly found unresponsive after emergency services responded to calls for a possible cardiac arrest.
Earlier in the day, the actor had played a two-hour Pickleball game, before sending his assistant on an errand.
When the assistant returned it was said they found Perry unresponsive in his hot tub.

Upon arrival, medics attempted a “water rescue” but efforts to revive the star were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at his LA home.
The news was first reported by TMZ whose sources claim Perry was discovered in a jacuzzi.
It was also noted foul play was not suspected, with drugs not found near his body.
In a gut-wrenching statement, Perry’s family shared: “We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother.

“Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”
As news of the actor’s death landed on social media, millions of fans and Perry’s Hollywood friends issued heartfelt tributes.
This also included his Friends cast members, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow who broke their silence with a joint statement.
It read: “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.

“There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”
Addressing fans, they promised that they would “say more when they are able.”
