Sophia Bush ‘DATING’ women’s soccer star Ashlyn Harris: One Tree Hill actress pictured flirting with athlete before sparking up hot romance in wake of divorce from husband

Sophia Bush is enjoying a surprise rebound romance with women’s soccer star Ashlyn Harris following her shock split from husband Grant Hughes two months ago. 

The 41-year-old One Tree Hill star, 41, blindsided fans when she filed for divorce from second husband on August 4 following just 13 months of marriage.

Meanwhile, Harris has also just split from her spouse – she filed for divorce from fellow soccer star wife Ali Krieger on September 19 after nearly four years of marriage and 13 years of dating.

The USWNT goalkeeper and the 39-year-old NJ/NY Gotham FC center back are co-parents of two small children – daughter Sloane Phillips Krieger-Harris, 2; and son Ocean Maeve Krieger-Harris, 15 months – whom they adopted in 2021 and 2022. 

Now Bush and Harris ‘are officially a thing’, insiders revealed to TMZ on Tuesday. 

The pair have known each other for some time and certainly seemed at ease in each other’s company on June 19, when the both spoke at the same feminist panel during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France.

They were seen enjoying flirtations giggles onstage and at one point Sophia reached out to touch Harris as they discussed ‘the impact that deep, creative partnerships can make to challenge societal systems and narratives.’

Sophia also gushed ‘Love you’ to Ashlyn on stage, a moment which was captured in a Johnnie Walker-sponsored Instagram post.

On Tuesday, an insider was quick to insist to People that ‘there is no salacious story’ when it comes to the timing of their romance.

‘After being friends for years, and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago,’ an insider of the new couple’s told the mag.

The source added: ‘Although it’s new information to the public, Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago and they have been living apart since the summer.’

‘This is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.’

Bush filed for divorce from Hughes on August 4, but claimed they planned on ‘continuing to run’ their non-profit Bush Hughes Foundation for Progress together.

‘Sophia and Grant were friends for 10 years and bonded during COVID through their love of community service,’ a source close to the couple told People at the time.

Sophia will next produce and star as concerned wife and mother Allison in Bryan Greenberg’s opioid thriller Junction – hitting limited US theaters January 26 – alongside Griffin Dunne, Ryan Eggold, Jamie Chung, and Dascha Polanco.
