Roddy Ricch's 'The Box' Tops RS 100 for Fourth Straight Week

Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” continued its reign at Number One on the latest Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart, earning close to 55 million streams. The track, which came out in December as part of the rapper’s Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial album, has topped the RS 100 for four weeks.

More than 20 new songs debuted on the singles chart this week. The majority of these came from Eminem, who released a new album, Music to Be Murdered By, with little warning on January 17th, and Mac Miller, whose posthumous album Circles came out the same day.

Eminem launched three new songs into the Top 10: “Godzilla,” which features a verse from Juice WRLD, “Darkness,” which drew attention for its controversial video, and “Those Kinda Nights,” which has a hook from Ed Sheeran. Circles spawned a pair of Top 10 entries: “Good News,” with its softly plucked strings and lolling raps, and “Blue World,” which samples the throwback vocal quartet the Four Freshman. In total, Eminem had 18 songs in the Top 100, while Miller had another 12.

The Rolling Stone Top 100 chart tracks the most popular songs of the week in the United States. Songs are ranked by song units, a number that combines audio streams and song sales using a custom weighting system. The chart does not include passive listening like terrestrial radio or digital radio. The Rolling Stone Top 100 chart is updated daily, and each week Rolling Stone finalizes and publishes an official version of the chart, covering the seven-day period ending with the previous Thursday.

Aside from the deluge of charting songs from Eminem and Miller, few new singles appeared on the latest RS 100. Jhene Aiko’s “P*$$y Fairy (OTW)” arrived at Number 28 with close to 10 million streams. And BTS’ “Black Swan” debuted at Number 50 with 5.7 million streams.

I gradually got over my ex but I was shocked when another pal told me my best mate had sex with my ex a fortnight after he’d dumped me.

I confronted her over it but she lied and said the rumour was rubbish. I’ve since heard my ex has admitted it himself.

She and I were always there for one another but now I see her differently and we are both angry.

I miss her as a friend. Is there any way our friendship can recover one day?

DEIDRE SAYS: If you really want it to, yes. You weren’t still a couple with your ex when your friend had sex with him. I bet she regrets it now but you had no rights over him at the time.

It’s hardly surprising she tried to cover her tracks when you confronted her as you caught her off-guard.

If you miss her as a friend, ask her for a coffee and tell her that. If she apologises, you may feel able to be mates again.

Rick Fox Finally Speaks on the Rumor That He Was Killed in Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash

People are still in shock over the sudden deaths of Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna. The two died, along with seven other people, in a helicopter accident in California on Jan. 26.

When news first broke about the accident, the details of the crash were unclear. No one knew exactly who was on the helicopter with Bryant. Some outlets reported that Bryant’s former Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Rick Fox, was onboard.

Fortunately, Fox was not in the helicopter when it crashed, but it must have been terrifying for his family to read so many reports saying that he was.

What does Rick Fox have to say?

Fox has kept pretty quiet since Bryant died, but on Jan. 28th, he spoke to Inside the NBA to discuss what it felt like for people to think he had died.

“My family went through, in the midst of all this, something that I couldn’t imagine them experiencing,” Fox said. “One of my daughter’s greatest fears is finding out that one of her parents has been lost through social media, instead of from a loved one or a family member. And she, fortunately, called me and we were just talking and crying about the news of Kobe.”

Of course, Fox’s friends also wanted to speak to him when they heard the news.

“The phone starts going off, and I’m thinking to myself, ‘Everybody wants to talk about Kobe.’ And right now I want to be with my kids and my family,” Fox continued.

And he didn’t answer any calls until his best friend, coach King Rice called.

“I’m seeing King’s number repeatedly going and going and going, and so I think he’s worried about me, so I said, ‘I’m gonna talk to my best friend,’ so I answered and said, ‘Hey man, this is crazy about Kobe,’ and he just was bawling,” Fox said. “He was like, ‘You’re alive!’ And I was like, ‘Well, yeah. What do you mean?’ And it was in that moment that my phone just started going, and my mom and my sister and my brother [were calling].”

But eventually, the rumor died down as more facts began to emerge.

“I’m glad that [the rumor] is over with, but it was hard to deal with because it shook a lot of people in my life.”

Where was Kobe Bryant going when he died?

Kobe and Gianna were on their way to the Mamba Academy in Thousand Oaks when the crash occurred. Onboard with the pair, were two of Gianna’s teammates, Alyssa Altobelli and Peyton Chester. Both of Alyssa’s parents, Keri and John Altobelli, were on the plane, as well as Payton’s mom, Sarah Chester. Women’s basketball coach Christina Mauser and the pilot Ara Zobayan were also killed in the crash.

Reactions to Kobe Bryant’s death

Bryant’s former teammates and those who knew him have been having a hard time coping with this loss.

“This has been a lot to process for all of us,” Fox said. “Quite frankly, we were blessed to have had the time we had with Kobe. A city is mourning, a family is mourning, we are all mourning.”

Basketball player Dwyane Wade also sent his condolences.

“RIP Kobe + GiGi ❤️💔,” he wrote on Instagram. “I know you said keep going but today we can’t. We love you and we’re gonna miss you brother.”

The truth about Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s marriage

Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert have proven themselves to be an exception to the reality TV relationship curse that prevents Bachelor franchise stars from forming long-lasting relationships — let alone long-lasting marriages.

Roper and Tolbert first met in 2015, while appearing as castmates on Bachelor in Paradise Season 2, and Bachelor Nation fans watched with delight as the two quickly fell in love and left the show as an engaged couple. Less than a year later, Roper and Tolbert married — and these reality television lovebirds wasted no time starting a family of their own. In August 2017, Roper and Tolbert welcomed a daughter into the world, and their son made his debut less than two years later.

Despite having the majority of their relationship play out on the small screen, Roper and Tolbert have seemingly maintained a somewhat normal marriage. However, these reality stars are no stranger to controversy. From Tolbert’s questionable comments about his wife to Roper’s controversial fantasy football win — here’s the untold truth of Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s marriage.

Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert got engaged three weeks after they met

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert first met as contestants on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise in 2015, immediately sparking a connection with one another. Over the course of the season, fans watched as Roper and Tolbert got to know each other on the beaches of Paradise, eventually falling in love and leaving as a newly engaged couple.

As happy and in love as the couple seemed to be, many viewers were skeptical about Roper and Tolbert’s engagement, which came a mere three weeks after their initial meeting. “It does seem crazy, and I thought there was zero chance of this,” Tolbert admitted to People. He continued, saying, “But when you’re there [in Paradise] and you spend so much time together from the get-go, three weeks is like nine months of real dating.”

In January 2016, Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert wed in a glamorous California ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. “It’s crazy how marriage does change everything,” Roper told People. She continued, “We’re a family now. And it feels like everything is complete.”

Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert went to marriage boot camp

In September 2016, less than a year after their wedding, Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert announced they’d be joining the cast of WE tv’s Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, as reported by People. Understandably, the announcement sent a shockwave throughout Bachelor Nation, as fans of the couple had just spent the last year watching the couple’s love story unfold on national television. What could possibly be wrong in their relationship?

Tolbert was quick to shut down any rumors of serious relationship issues, explaining to People, “We never got to do premarital counseling, because everything moved so quick with us.” He continued, saying, “So we kind of viewed it as an opportunity to lay a good foundation.”

Roper chimed in, admitting, “You’ll see us have some fights — but that’s normal.” The reality star continued, telling People, “I think people kind of have this idea that you go on The Bachelor and you have this perfect relationship, but we’re normal, just like everyone else, and we have our issues.”

Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert have had to defend their daughter from online trolls

While they’re not quite household names, Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are famous enough to garner harsh criticism online. And, since welcoming their first child — daughter Emerson Avery — in August 2017, Roper and Tolbert have had to fight back against social media users who seem to consider the couple incapable of properly raising their daughter on their own.

In July 2019, Roper put an Instagram user on blast after they sent her a message claiming Emerson was showing signs of autism, as reported by People. “If you all mean well, it’s still not ok to say she has Autism or needs speech therapy or to comment any sort of thing like that to anyone about their child,” Roper wrote. She continued, “We are her parents, we have a great pediatrician, and we know her development.”

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Tolbert said, “If you won’t say something face-to-face to somebody, don’t say it online.”

After Bachelor in Paradise, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert suffered a major tragedy

Considering Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert fell in love and got married on national television, some fans might assume they know all there is to know about the reality stars’ love story. However, while fans were watching them fall in love on TV, Roper and Tolbert were experiencing a tragic real-life loss offscreen.

In February 2019, Roper and Tolbert revealed in a heartbreaking YouTube video that they had gotten pregnant during Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise. However, soon after confirming the unexpected pregnancy, Roper suffered a miscarriage. “We didn’t have any concrete plans of when we were going to be, like, living together or what our next steps were,” Tolbert recalled. He continued, “Now all of a sudden we had a very real-life thing happen.”

Crying, Roper revealed, “At the time, I didn’t really grieve because I just didn’t know … how to process it.” She continued, saying, “It wasn’t until I had [daughter] Emerson that I realized how much I love my child and how amazing of a miracle it is, and I think I really grieved that child much later.”

Bachelor in Paradise star Tanner Tolbert opened up about his and Jade Roper's intimacy issues

Tanner Tolbert revealed incredibly private details about his sex life with Jade Roper during an August 2019 episode of Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files

In the podcast episode, the Bachelor in Paradise star opened up to Viall about his sex life with Roper and how having two children had negatively impacted the couple’s private time. When asked about romance, Tolbert quickly retorted, “What romance?” Revealing that Roper didn’t want to be intimate as much as she did before giving birth to their kids, Tolbert told Viall, “It is tough. I feel like I’ve begged for [sex].” He continued, saying, “And I don’t want to feel selfish. I hate asking. I hate trying, ’cause, like, I don’t want it to be, like, pity sex.”

Revealing he often is the one to initiate intimate time with Roper, Tolbert said, “It’s better when the wife initiates. Even if you don’t want to, I think throw the guy a bone a little bit and make him feel wanted.”

The birth of Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert's first child was a terrifying experience for them

While daughter Emerson Avery Tolbert is healthy and happy now, Jade Roper revealed that giving birth to her first child with Tanner Tolbert was quite a terrifying experience.

In an emotional October 2017 vlog, Roper recounted Emerson’s birth story, which started when the expectant mother’s water broke four weeks early, as reported by People. Tolbert and Roper rushed to a nearby hospital that allowed Roper to labor in a tub of water, which is something she’d long envisioned doing. Describing the feeling of Emerson’s head coming into the birth canal, Roper revealed, “It is the most intense pressure but it’s the coolest feeling.” She continued, “I was someone who definitely had a lot of pain. … I probably was scaring the people down the hallway when I was pushing because I was screaming.”

As Roper and Tolbert later learned, Emerson’s early arrival was a blessing in disguise. According to Roper’s midwife, her umbilical cord was knotted — something that could have “cut off all nutrients” and resulted in Emerson’s passing had she not made an early arrival.

Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are "complete opposites"

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert definitely seem like a match made in paradise — or, rather, a match made in Bachelor in Paradise. After witnessing their whirlwind three-week relationship turn into a happy, successful marriage, it’s only natural to wonder how these two have managed to maintain a long-lasting, relatively normal relationship in spite of reality TV stardom.

Shedding some light on the secret to their happy marriage, Tolbert told Nick Viall on the podcast The Viall Files, “We are each other’s best friends and we balance each other out.” He continued, revealing, “I think we’re complete opposites, which every once in a while can cause a fight, but I think mostly we balance each other out.” He also added that both he and his wife are deeply “committed” to each other and their relationship.

On Jan. 24, 2020, Roper posted a sweet message to Instagram in honor of her four-year anniversary with Tolbert. “Life gets crazy sometimes … but I wouldn’t want to go through this hand-in-hand with anyone but you,” Roper wrote. She continued, “Thanks for being my best friend and here’s to growing old together!”

Bachelor in Paradise star Tanner Tolbert helped Jade Roper deliver their son in a closet

In July 2019, Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert welcomed their second child, son Brooks Easton. However, Brooks’ arrival to the world proved to be one of the most dramatic entrances the Bachelor franchise has ever seen.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Roper and Tolbert recounted Brooks’ birth, telling ET host Lauren Zima that Roper first started to feel contractions while she and Tolbert were at home watching Hannah Brown’s Bachelorette season finale. After her water broke, Roper and Tolbert began preparing to leave for the hospital — but baby Brooks couldn’t wait any longer. “The moment I realized that we weren’t going to make it to the hospital, I was, like, screaming,” Roper revealed. She continued, saying, “It took my pain to a whole other level, because it became fear.”

Describing giving birth to Brooks “30 [to] 40 minutes” after her water broke, Roper recalled, “We were all in the closet … I’m, like, hunched over clenching this bench, Tanner’s calling 911, and they got there in six minutes — they got there so fast.” Added Roper, “And then two minutes after they got there, [Brooks] came out.”

Bachelor in Paradise star Tanner Tolbert has been criticized for saying he didn't bond immediately with his and Jade Roper's son

While plenty of Bachelor Nation fans were taken aback by the comments Tanner Tolbert made on Nick Viall’s podcast about his and Jade Roper’s sex life, the Bachelor in Paradise star made even more headlines when he admitted to Viall that he hadn’t yet formed a strong bond with his newborn son.

The Viall Files podcast episode featuring Tolbert was recorded in August 2019, only a month after Tolbert and Roper welcomed their son, Brooks Easton, into the world. Opening up about his newborn son, Tolbert revealed, “Before I had [daughter Emerson Avery Tolbert], before any pregnancy in my life, I always thought I wanted a boy.”

However, according to Tolbert, becoming a father to his new baby boy didn’t quite feel like how he’d always imagined it would. “To be honest, my connection with my daughter, probably initially, was the most strong,” Tolbert admitted. He continued, “I don’t know if it’s because she was a daughter or because she was first … I feel right now more connected to Emmy.”

Bachelor in Paradise star Jade Roper has come to Tanner Tolbert's defense

Following the controversial remarks he made during his The Viall Files appearance, Bachelor in Paradise star Tanner Tolbert appeared as a guest on Mommies Tell All — a podcast hosted by wife Jade Roper and fellow Bachelor in Paradise alum Carly Waddell (via People).

Opening up about his conversation with Nick Viall, Tolbert revealed, “I tried to just be as honest as I could on [Viall’s] podcast about numerous topics and I tried to be real.” Added Tolbert, “I caught some heat from that.”

Fortunately, Roper was ready and willing to stick up for her man — especially from people criticizing the father of two for the comments he made about not immediately forming a strong bond with his and Roper’s son. “We’re hormonally designed to bond with our babies, but it doesn’t always happen,” Roper explained. She continued, “[Brooks’ birth] was traumatic enough for me to where I didn’t bond [immediately] … and then it’s been a slow roll for me feeling the way I guess I just felt immediately with Emerson.”

Added Roper, “Women definitely experience that too, but I definitely do think it’s different for dads.”

Bachelor in Paradise star Jade Roper has been criticized for putting her and Tanner Tolbert's son in dresses

Unfortunately, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert just can’t seem to escape criticism from social media users who insist on doling out unwarranted (and unwanted) parenting advice.

In January 2020, Roper posted a picture to her Instagram story featuring a happy baby Brooks in a pink dress with a frilly, tulle skirt, as reported by Us Weekly. “Put Brooks in some of [Emerson’s] old stuff,” Roper captioned the picture. Of course, it didn’t take long for comments from critics to start rolling in.

“How could you dress your son like a girl?” one Instagram user wrote. That user went on, “I’ve never seen anyone trying to make fun of their own baby. You need help!”

Never one to shy away from clapping back at the haters, Roper responded, “Whoa. This won’t be the last time Brooks will find himself in girly clothing, what’s wrong with dress up!?” The reality star continued, writing, “I wasn’t making fun of him, he looks adorable.”

Bachelor in Paradise star Jade Roper allegedly beat Tanner Tolbert in a major fantasy football contest

On Jan. 5, 2020, Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert made headlines that extended far beyond just Bachelor Nation when it was revealed Roper had placed first in the DraftKings “Millionaire Maker” event, winning $1 million as a reward.

“I’m pretty sure this girl was on The Bachelor. I only know this because my girlfriend forces me to watch it,” wrote one Twitter user, along with the results from the contest , as reported by People. Roper responded, “Hahaha that’s me! And Tanner told me I shouldn’t play DK Metcalf!” Roper continued expressing her excitement on social media, tweeting, “Doesn’t even feel real over here! Officially speechless. LIKE WHAAAAAAAAT.”

Chris Randone, a Bachelor in Paradise Season 5 alum and fantasy sports writer, took to Twitter to send his congratulations. However, the reality star credited Tolbert instead of Roper. “OMG congrats to my boy [for] winning the f***ing milly maker!!!!” Randone tweeted. Tolbert quickly responded, writing, “Technically Jade’s lineup won … but til death do us part.”

Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert have been accused of cheating to win a million dollars

Soon after Bachelor in Paradise stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert began expressing excitement on social media over Roper’s big DraftKings win, some fantasy football fans came forward with accusations of cheating, as reported by People. One Twitter user commented, “Everyone realizes the two of them max entered and split their player exposure, right?” Added the user, “And that is illegal.”

As clearly noted on DraftKings’ website, group play or “behavior designed to gain an unfair advantage over others” is strictly prohibited. Speaking with People soon after Roper’s win, a DraftKings spokesperson revealed, “We take the integrity and fairness of our contests very seriously and are looking into this matter.”

Weeks later on Jan. 25, 2020, it was reported that Roper’s $1 million prize had been stripped from her following DraftKings’ investigation, according to TMZ. In a statement regarding the fantasy football contest, DraftKings revealed, “All customers affected by the updated standings will be notified directly. It is our general policy not to comment further on such matters.”

As of this writing, neither Roper nor Tolbert have publicly commented on DraftKings’ decision.

Some 'Bachelor' Fans Are 'Done Watching' Peter Weber's Season After Producers Manipulate it Too Much

The Bachelor has long been known for serious drama, and Peter Weber’s season isn’t disappointing. While Weber was very in love with Hannah Brown on The Bachelorette, he’s now trying his hand at finding the woman of his dreams. And while he believes she’s on the show, it hasn’t been easy. From returning exes to the producers seemingly plotting some women against others, the whole season feels messy and complicated already.

The producers love when drama occurs, as there’s nothing worse than a boring season. But are they taking things too far? It seems some fans think the show should cool it with the antics. Here’s what they’re saying.

The producers seemed to bring stressful chance encounters into Peter Weber’s world early on

We know Brown had a rough go at love on The Bachelorette, and she appears to be single after her engagement to Jed Wyatt came to a disastrous end. For this reason, it makes total sense to bring her on the show for the drama.

Not only did Brown hop out of the limo when the women first arrived, but during one of the early challenges, she also cried to Weber about her confused feelings for him. It ended up ruining the challenge completely, as it took up all of Weber’s time. And it also put him in a state of pining for Brown, though he then sent her packing to focus on the other women.

Brown showing up had to be OK’d by the producers, of course.

After that, one of the most dramatic moments so far took place — and it was all about champagne. Elite Daily reminds us Kelsey Weier had a special bottle of champagne set up for her and Weber, but Hannah Ann Sluss thought the show producers set it up just for her and Weber to enjoy. Later, it was discovered that there were two bottles of champagne — but it caused a major blowout between Sluss and Weier.

Recent events with Alayah Benavidez and Victoria Fuller also seemed staged

A post shared by Victoria Fuller (@vlfuller) on

The drama hasn’t let up at all since the beginning of the season, either. During Episode 4, Victoria Fuller went on a date with Weber to a Chase Rice concert. But Fuller and Rice once dated, making the whole ordeal totally awkward.

It seems Rice wasn’t happy producers set the date up the way they did, either. CNN notes Rice talked to Fitz in the Morning and told them he had no idea he’d be on that date, and he felt totally blindsided.

“The fact they did that to me, it’s over the top, it’s unnecessary, I didn’t expect it,” he said.

Aside from the Fuller-Rice drama, Alayah Benavidez also made her grand return after Weber sent her packing during the previous rose ceremony. Benavidez felt she was being unfairly ganged-up on by the other women. And the producers allowed her to come back and speak her peace, resulting in Weber awarding her a rose.

Some fans have had enough

While some Bachelor fans are here for the drama, others think this season has gone overboard.

“There’s so much drama it’s on the verge of looking fake,” one Reddit user said. “How can the producers push the idea that ‘the process works’ while simultaneously sabotaging the process at every turn?”

“A lot of seasons have been boring yes, but this one takes the prize of just being a new level of stupid highschool mentality locker room girl bickering,” another Reddit user wrote.

“This is the worst season. I might have to stop watching. The drama is painful not entertaining. Please stop over- producing,” yet another added.

We’re sure there’s plenty more drama to come despite fan backlash. We’ll have to wait and see if Weber can find the woman of his dreams despite it all.

Peaky Blinders creator reveals season 6 time jump will land Tommy Shelby at dawn of World War II – The Sun

PEAKY Blinders creator Steven Knight has teased the beginning of the end for Cillian Murphy's BBC drama series.

Steven has always insisted that the gangster-led show would focus on the specific time period between the end of World War I in 1918, and the start of World War II in 1939, and he has now revealed that season six will feature another time jump, bringing viewers up to the 1930s and closer to the end than ever.

"It’s moving the story forward. We always jump in time so we are into the 1030s. Expect the unexpected," said Steven.

"Because of the nature of the decade, the 30s, we know what happened at the end – that war began."

Speaking to PA, he added: "There are rumblings and rumours of war and that is overshadowing the whole thing. It makes it all the more… the stakes are higher."

Season five of Peaky Blinders ended with Tommy in a new position of power and crossing paths with fascist leader Oswald Mosley (played by Sam Claflin), a real life figure.

However the acclaimed season ended with an assassination attempt at a rally for Mosley, with Tommy's losing numerous members of his gang.

It then ended on a cliffhanger as Tommy started to lose his mind and was on the verge of killing himself after seeing the ghost of his dead wife, Grace (played by Annabelle Wallis).

Production on season six kicked off earlier in January with the title of the premiere being revealed as director Anthony Byrne took to Instagram to share a picture of the front page of a script.

It revealed that the series opener is called 'Black Day' and Anthony captioned the shot: "We are in pre-production on Season 6. More to come, By Order of…"

Earlier this month, Anthony revealed which characters would be returning for series six.

Speaking on the Obsessed With Peaky Blinders podcast, Anthony said: "Obviously Gina (Anya Taylor-Joy) and whoever her family are will make themselves known, Oswald Mosley and some people around him and his world.”

Aspiring Actress Tearfully Testifies Harvey Weinstein Assaulted Her and Offered Parts for Sex

Dawn Dunning, a former waitress and aspiring actress who claims Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulted her in 2004, tearfully testified in Manhattan Supreme Court about how the media mogul propositioned her and stuck his hand up her skirt during a business meeting.

After initially meeting Weinstein at a nightclub in the Meatpacking District in New York City where she worked as a cocktail waitress, Dunning said Weinstein offered to help her with her acting career, so he called for a meeting in a hotel room. Dunning said she had no reason to believe the meeting would be anything but business-related.

Weinstein lured her into a bedroom at the boutique hotel in Soho, Dunning said on the stand, to discuss possible roles she might play in upcoming films for Miramax, the indie label that Weinstein ran at the time. Dunning said when she arrived to the hotel suite, about five staff members from Miramax were working on the laptops in the hotel room, so it seemed like a professional setting. Weinstein took Dunning into a separate bedroom in the suite, closed the door nearly all the way and sat down on the bed next to her to have a professional conversation, which Dunning said was not sexual in any way. “There were no red flags or alerts or anything that would make me expect this to happen,” she said.

Dunning alleged that while the two were sitting on a bed, discussing her acting career, Weinstein suddenly slid his hand up her leg and inserted it into her vagina.

Popular on Variety

“His hand went under my underwear. He was trying to put it in my vagina,” Dunning said, breaking down into tears. Asked by the Assistant District Attorney, “Did his finger actually go into your vagina?” Dunning cried and responded, “Slightly. Not all the way.”

“I stood up. I was shocked. I just wasn’t expecting that to happen,” Dunning said in court on Wednesday. “He just started talking really fast like, ‘It’s not a big deal, don’t make a big deal out of this.’ He said it wouldn’t happen again.”

Up until that meeting, Dunning said she was excited about the potential career opportunities that Weinstein offered her, including a screen-test at Miramax’s offices. “I was trying to get work from him, so [it was] like a work relationship,” Dunning testified. “Everyone that I knew knew that I was going to meetings with him and that I had a screen-test — it was a really big deal for me.”

After testifying about the hotel encounter when Weinstein allegedly put his hand up her skirt, Dunning then shared a second encounter with the producer, and said she convinced herself that if she told Weinstein she wanted their relationship to remain platonic, things could remain professional.

Dunning went to a second meeting at a different hotel because Weinstein’s assistant told her that it would take place at the hotel restaurant downstairs; not inside a hotel suite. When Dunning arrived to the hotel, the assistant was waiting to greet her downstairs, but said she would have to go upstairs to meet Weinstein, who was actually in a suite. The assistant escorted Dunning upstairs, and Weinstein opened the door wearing an open bathrobe. Dunning said he appeared to be naked and exposed under the robe. “He was very overweight and he had a large stomach that was hanging down,” she said.

Inside the hotel room, Weinstein allegedly had three movie contracts on the coffee table. Pointing to the contacts, he said, “You can have all three of these parts if you have a threesome with me and my assistant.”

“When he said that, I laughed,” Dunning said. “I thought he was kidding. He had kind of a crass sense of humor, but when I started laughing, he got really angry and started screaming at me like, ‘You’ll never make it in this business. This is how this industry works. The is how actresses got to where they are.’”

Weinstein then claimed Charlize Theron and Salma Hayek had exchanged sex for parts, according to Dunning.

“At that point, I was scared and I didn’t know what he was going to do,” said Dunning. “I literally ran out the hall to the elevator.” Dunning said she heard Weinstein screaming after her when she ran out, but she made it down the elevator, hopped into a cab and went home. “It was loud. He’s a large man. It was scary. It was very aggressive.”

Weinstein’s assistant called Dunning shortly after the alleged threesome proposition, saying that Weinstein wanted to speak to her. Dunning declined to take Weinstein’s call, and to this day, she never spoke to or saw Weinstein again.

Dunning claims she told many friends, but she did not go to the police because “I didn’t know what he did was illegal or a crime.”

After the second hotel incident, Dunning said she stopped pursuing her dreams to become a professional actress. “I stopped acting after that. I still did art projects with friends or small little things, but I stopped going on auditions,” she said. “I stopped really pursuing it in the way that I was.”

Dunning testified that when she saw an article about Weinstein in 2017 written by New York Times journalist Jodi Kantor, she cried when reading the piece and reached out to Kantor to thank her for publishing the story. After that, she spoke to the newspaper for an interview.

Attorneys for Weinstein tried to poke holes in Dunning’s claims, suggesting that Dunning was able to raise her profile by doing media interviews with the New York Times, CNN and other outlets. Weinstein’s attorney Arthur Aidala questioned why Dunning would agree to see Weinstein after the first hotel incident when he allegedly put his hand up her skirt, which she described as “horrendous.”

During her TV interviews and story with the New York Times, Dunning only spoke about the second alleged encounter where she was propositioned for a threesome. She never revealed the first accusation of Weinstein putting his fingers up her skirt. On the stand on Wednesday, Dunning testified that she never told anyone “on earth” about this incident, until she spoke with the D.A.’s office. “I was embarrassed,” said Dunning. “I wanted to pretend like it didn’t happen. I just didn’t want to be a victim.”

Weinstein’s attorney Aidala took issue with Dunning only revealing part of the allegations during her interviews, which he referred to as a “media tour,” and he went into a long line of questioning with the prosecutors repeatedly objecting and the judge shooting down Aidala’s questions.

As the cross-examination got heated, Weinstein, sitting at the defendant’s table, was starring intently at his lawyer, as he typically does in court when witnesses are cross-examined.

Weinstein is contending with five criminal charges, including rape and sexual assault. If convicted, he faces life in prison. Weinstein says any sexual encounters were consensual. During her testimony, Dunning became so emotional that at times it was difficult to make out her words.

Lady Gaga’s Mother Opens Up About Her Pop Star Daughter’s Mental Health Journey

Lady Gaga’s mother shared insight into her superstar daughter’s lifelong journey with managing her mental health.

Cynthia Germanotta revealed the difficulties of raising a teenage daughter dealing with depression on the Today show’s digital series Through Mom’s Eyes, hosted by Sheinelle Jones. Per People, according to Germanotta, a young Gaga dealt with severe bullying while attending school, starting at a very young age.

“In middle school, because she was unique, she started experiencing a lot of struggles,” said Germanotta. “You know, feeling isolated from events. Humiliated. Taunted. And she would start to question herself and become doubtful of her own abilities. And that’s when she developed depression.” Germanotta admitted that she and her husband, Joe Germanotta, did their best to help Gaga cope, but as parents, didn’t always know the best ways to go about helping their daughter.

“I felt where I made mistakes was I didn’t really know the warning signs to look for,” admitted Germanotta.

After Gaga’s sudden rise to fame, the singer and her mother started the Born This Way Foundation, which aims to help the next generation of youth conquer and control their struggles with mental health. Germanotta shared that at first, she wasn’t sure why her daughter decided to be so open about the emotional hardships in her life, but then realized that her transparency with revealing her struggles ended up eventually helping her heal.

Lady Gaga has spoken out previously about living with PTSD, being a survivor of sexual assault, and grappling with suicidal ideation.

“I wish there had been a system in place to protect and guide me. A system in place to empower me to say no to things I felt I had to do. A system in place to empower me to stay away from toxic working environments or working with people that were of seriously questionable character,” said Gaga during an awards acceptance speech last year. “There were days I struggled or couldn’t make it to work, and I don’t want that for other artists, or for anyone.”

White House Farm – how many episodes are in the ITV drama? – The Sun

BASED on a chilling true story, ITV crime drama White House Farm follows the manhunt for murderer Jeremy Bamber.

The gripping series and all-star cast has been keeping viewers hooked but only a few episodes remain.

How many episodes of White House Farm are there?

White House Farm first aired on ITV on January 8, 2020 and there are six episodes in total.

You can watch the series every Wednesday at 9pm on ITV.

Previous episodes can be found on ITV Hub.

The final episode will be on TV on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020.

What has happened so far in White House Farm?

The true crime drama is based on Jeremy Bamber, who was jailed for life for murdering his family at an Essex farm back in 1985.

The series got off to a grisly start with the brutal murders of Bamber's whole family.

Police are called to White House Farm where Jeremy’s sister Sheila, mother June, father Nevill and twin nephews Nicholas and Daniel are all found dead. They've all been shot – with Jeremy the only survivor.

We get a glimpse into Jeremy's troubling relationship with his sister Shelia who has been struggling with her mental health.

Jeremy seems to indicate to police that his Shelia is responsible for the murders – telling them he received a distressing call from his dad telling him his sister was threatening the family with a gun.

But police are soon to speculate and turn their suspicions towards Jeremy as they discover that Shelia had been shot twice.

Jeremy's girlfriend Julie has been acting strange since episode one – indicating she knows what her boyfriend did.

The Coroner report uncovers some worrying evidence that its not a simple case of murder/suicide.

We also learn that Jeremy has been to see a lawyer about the family's will and reveals to his cousin Ann that he will be charged massive death duties so he says he will be selling the farm.

However, when his cousin gets cross about this, he reveals that he was "teasing" saying he's "joking" and that there was "loads of money".

Jeremy starts to show his true colours  – announcing he is having all the bodies cremated, saying that he was the one "in charge now," and he also callously has the family dog put down.

The plot takes a turn as Ann and her brother find a silencer for a gun in the cupboard.

It was later proved that Shelia couldn't have shot herself with the silencer on the gun, as the weapon was too long for her to reach.

Stan then raced to the corner's inquest to stop the verdict of murder/suicide being recorded – but was too late.

He now has to try and get the verdict overturned and prove Jeremy's guilt…

Who is in the cast of White House Farm?

The six-part series has an all-star cast:

  • Freddie Fox as Jeremy Bamber
  • Cressida Bonas as Shelia Caffell
  • Alfie Allen as Brett Collins
  • Mark Addy as Detective Stan Jones
  • Stephen Graham as DCI Thomas "Taff" Jones

The Witcher: Yennefer star makes surprise sex scene confession ‘I didn’t feel comfortable’

Yennefer of Vengerberg (played by Anya Chalotra) begins the Netflix series as timid and deformed, but by the end of The Witcher, she has grown into a powerful sorceress. The breakthrough actress recently revealed that her experience behind-the-scenes was just as empowering.

Not only is Yennefer an influential and formidable magic user, but the sorceress also has a level of sexual agency that is rare in other fantasy shows of its ilk.

She initiates a hot and heavy session with the eponymous Witcher (Henry Cavill) but before that, her pre-transformed self engages in a passionate embrace with sorcerer Istredd (Royce Pierreson) as a conjured audience watches on.

Anya recently spoke with the Metro regarding the scenes and revealed: “I had a body double for the sex scenes, and she was always there. Flora.”

During vulnerable shooting sequences, whatever the actors’ decision on-set, it’s still vital measures are taken to ensure all the performers feel as comfortable as possible.

She continued: “I only used her for the first sex scene because I realised very quickly that actually, I didn’t feel comfortable anyone else portraying Yennefer, because it’s still acting isn’t it?”

Further sequences were shot semi-nude with Anya in order to be respectful as possible, and some viewers have found it refreshing that the women in the show, and their sexuality, are treated with respect.

Even though every character’s moral compass can go askew, in direct contrast to a show like Game of Thrones, the writers don’t attempt to reflect the medieval setting with frequent scenes of sexual assault.

Yennefer’s first sequence with Istredd was filmed in wide-shot with a body double to convey the required nudity for the scene, but the intimate close-ups were all Anya and Royce.

In her interview with the Metro, Anya explained: ‘I found [watching] that really hard, so if we were going to talk about the sex scenes then it would be how we were best going to film them, so that I was comfortable and you’d get you’d still get what we needed for the story to move on.”

For Netflix viewers, the scenes were a refreshing change of pace from Game of Thrones, in which a large proportion of its nudity features actresses in compromising and non-consensual positions.

Anya added: ‘“The only things that I had to get nude for were the scenes, the transformation scene and other scenes which actually really did develop the story and really need to, you know…”

Yennefer’s scenes alone warrant the series’ adult rating, but Anya was on board with whatever needed to be done to faithfully adapt Andrzej Sapkowski’s epic bestsellers.

The Witcher: Showrunner explains Ciri’s new powers [INTERVIEW]

Fans of the original book series and the trilogy of video games were very satisfied with the translation of their favourite characters to screen, despite some muddy narrative flaws confusing the fractured timeline somewhat.

A scuffle with a mean-tempered Djinn (or genie) results in Geralt’s first encounter with Yennefer, and it doesn’t take long after the wish-granting spirit is banished for the pair to get down to business and begin their tumultuous relationship.

Believing their affair to be Geralt’s third wish from the genie Yennefer abandons Geralt but keen readers will know that this just marked the start of their ongoing romance.

It’s too soon to predict whether Yennefer will join the ranks of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) among the most iconic action heroines, but both she and Cirilla (Freya Allen) have certainly made an impression.

Shooting for the anticipated second season starts in February and fans are currently speculating that GOT alum Kristofer Hivju is set to join the cast.

Showrunner Lauren S Hissrich has dropped hints that the short story A Grain of Truth will be amongst those adapted for the next season.

No release date has been set but it will undoubtedly be another smash hit for Netflix.
