Inside James Argent’s star-studded birthday celebrations with TOWIE co-stars

The Only Way Is Essex star James 'Arg' Argent has celebrated his birthday surrounded by his closest friends and family.

The TV personality turned 36 on Tuesday, December 5, and made a reservation at Sheesh in Essex to mark the occasion.

Arg's close pal and former TOWIE co-star Ferne McCann took to Instagram to share snaps of the fun-filled evening.

In one video, he stood up and clapped as he was serenaded with a rendition of 'happy birthday' by those who had turned up to celebrate.

Ferne captioned the clip: "Happy birthday my darling friend. Love you @real_arg."

Entertainment was provided by Tony Roberts, who often performs alongside the TV star in The Arg Band, but it wasn't long before the roles were reversed as Arg took the mic and the crowd was treated to a cover of Chuck Berry's Run Rudolph Run – a very festive choice.

Ferne, who gave birth to her second daughter earlier this year, also shared a look at some of the mouth-watering food at Sheesh, and said it "feels good to be back".

Arg's birthday celebrations come a month after the star split from his 19 year old girlfriend, Stella Turian.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star had been dating the law student since June 2022 and even hinted at marriage last month, but it seems their love story has now come to an end.

Despite enjoying romantic trips to Venice, Verona and Lake Garda together, sources close to James said he's devastated as things suddenly fell apart.

Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, James – who's had his fair share of heartbreak in the past – managed to make it work for a while.

A source told MailOnline: "Throughout the summer it became increasingly difficult for them to meet up due to their work commitments.

"There are no hard feelings between them, they still follow each other on Instagram, and James is even invited to come out to ski with Stella and her family early next year."
